Overall the stay there was good. I had a room on the second floor and the room was clean except one of the sheets had stains on it and a piece of hair. I just asked the people at the desk if I could just have new sheets and I changed them myself so I knew that they were clean. Everything else in the room was fine. The AC worked great. The other thing I would note was shower curtain had a stain on it but it didn’t bother me much. The breakfast was really good and they had hot breakfast too. If you are looking for a place to swim this probably isn’t it because the indoor pool area is humid and the water was like a murky green but if you are staying for other plans like cedar point or put-in bay then this is a great location for you. I didn’t have anything trouble checking in. It was quick and easy. Overall I would stay again ! Thanks.

Room was nice

The pool was ice cold, wasn't even heated for an inside pool

Room was recently updated, very clean, even smelled nice, hotel lobby and 1st floor amenities also clean, updated and nice. Cleaning and front desk at checkout were very kind, conversational and pleasant to speak with. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast hours were a little limited - we're used to breakfast being available till 10 -11am, this one closed at 9:30 so we missed it by 15 min. The hours were posted, but we didn't see that until afterward. There were also cookies available @ front desk during check in but none offered - neither of these things would prevent from staying again.

We enjoyed the pool which was in a heated room but not warm pool.cool pool was nice. The breakfast was wonderful food and such great staff and cook. The room was okay and had bathroom with sink outside of it and big closet in end corner.Cookies were nice at .desk..

The room was not Country Inn And Suites standards and no couch or sitting area which am used to as stay at this name of hotel a lot. It was expensive but not updated. So not worth the cost.The front desk staff was so nice and helpful with towels needed and cookies.

The breakfast was really good! It exceeded our expectations. And you could tell the kitchen staff took pride in the food. Also, the gentleman that worked the desk Saturday night (10pm-ish) was so organized, professional and had a great attitude!

Unfortunately, there were long hairs inside and outside of the tub. Also, the tub was plugged with water in it :(. In addition, the air conditioner seemed to be not functioning at its best. It was blowing cool air but the room was humid.

Staff on duty knows how or what to do in emergency situation or event(e.g.fire like what happened in the morning of our overnight stay.) Fire alarm went off at 730am(just woke up to get ready for breakfast) then a staff knocking/checking each door to tell to evacuate the bldg & ensure no one is behind.

There's no follow up call from management or Hotel to check if everything is OK emotionally, mentally physically after the event. Eventhough we check out that day..

The staff were friendly, courteous, and easy to work with. The beds and pillows were comfortable and entire facility was clean. This was my first trip being able to use my power chair and first hotel expierence being able to access the room and bathroom, dining area, and pool area. My family and I rented 2 rooms and everyone loved our stay. The staff provided an amazing breakfast both days too!

The handicapped accessible room we rented only had a shower/tub with rails and I wasn't able to shower because I couldn't safely get into it and I wanted to swim with my son but the pool didn't have a lift chair. The pool at this location was a heated indoor pool and I have a spinal cord injury with severe nerve damage so I was hoping for a cooler pool.

The room was very nice. Two comfortable beds, refrigerator and microwave, swimming pool. The breakfast was very good which included waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits, potatoes, pastries. The staff were very good. My wife hurt her foot when we did something off site of the hotel but the hotel staff treated her very well and did what they could for her. I want to especially mention Tony, one of the managers. He was extremely helpful and couldn't have been nicer about all of it. He was excellent. I told him that the next time I get up to Port Clinton, this is the place I will be staying.

A small thing, but I would have liked a small table in the room so my wife and i could play cards or board games on it. It wasn't a big deal, but the only thing I can think of that I would have changed. other than that, it was perfect!

very clean, comfy beds, amazing breakfast. There had been a fire in the laundry area so crew was working hard to get everything bedding, towels, pillow cases but they made it happen and were very up front with the issues so there was no hidden problems. they were very professional and we loved our stay and would stay 10x again. late 12pm check out and pool open till 12am.
