Quality Inn & Suites Clackamas - Portland

Return customer because I like the location and all the amenities in this area. The hotel area feels really safe when I park my vehicles. It is a semi walkable area but on the other side of 205 they have all the eats and shopping imaginable. They serve a great breakfast.

I got in an hour early (my fault because I put 7pm as arrival) and they werent ready but my room was way nicer than last visit. A family decided to use the swimming pool and didnt get out til late (they were way too noisy) for me. Wish the kitchen staff was a little friendlier and happier, makes me feel they are under paid.

This was as close as we could stay near friends. Quiet despite the Freeway overlook. The food and drink in the area are good, walking distance a McMenimans pub, the Mall across the highway has a decent cinema and excellent shops. The outdoor pool was nice and exercise room ok, an all in one machine and 3 cardio machines. Breakfast was a serve yourself of cooked eggs and sausage, make your own pancakes and waffles.

Difficult to find using the street address. They should change it to Stephens St. so easy to end up back on I-205 The entry is via a strip mall. The beeping on the door lock was annoying.

The breakfast was very nice; hot and fresh scrambled eggs, turkey or regular link sausage, and hash browns. They also offered pancakes or waffles, and beverages, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The room was clean and fresh, and everything met or exceeded my expectations. The bed was VERY comfortable. I requested a room to be in the front of the building near the stairs above the front desk. I have found this entrance and location to feel the safest and most populated after hours, as opposed to the other two entrances more near the elevator.

The only item I did not care for was not the fault of the hotel... there was a man smoking pot near the front entrance, and that was unpleasant to walk near (He could have moved further from the entrance). Otherwise, the front entrance is well lit, clear of debris, and seemed very safe after dark.

The front desk staff was top notch the breakfast staff a complete nightmare. One basically a cursed me of sneaking in to get free food, I was there for 2 weeks and she had seen me before so she should have known and she was so utterly rude as well as the other breakfast person they were both not nice at all and they need some customer service training. They hirt my feelings so that's the o ly issue my husband and I had.

The breakfast staff was not hospital at all. And they were not approachable.

The front desk lady was very friendly and efficient. The room looked like it had recently been updated. It included two beds, a refrigerator, coffee maker and the other usual things. It was roomy and the air conditioner worked well. There was a nice pool and the breakfast was very good. There was lots of parking and food available within walking distance.

I can't think of anything.

Liked that there was a non-pork breakfast meat option and was labeled as such.

I did not feel safe letting my friend go alone at night in the back parking lot where my car was with the homeless residing, or groups of kids loitering on the edge of the property. The lot was well lit and I understand these issues must be very challenging for a business. A fact of what the Portland area has become. Having all side entry key access only all day and night was comforting.

Went to sleep and shower, my business was somewhere else and as long as the room was clean & safe I was good with it. Price was reasonable.

Im fine with the hotel, service was friendly and helpful. My rant is with the checkout. I asked for a final receipt and was told Booking.com was the one to give it to me since I booked thru a third party, I still have not gotten my final receipt from Booking. com.

I was told just fifty dollars . online then I went use my Venmo Credit card Not prepaid . she told me we don’t take prepaid card I said this I’d a credit card with a visa logo . and she said you can try use it . then I told her I will pay half on my card / half cash she told me no . I was embarrassed that she was talking like that in front of other people weather my friend or not . I’ve never been at hotel that treated me like this . I can go on but I won’t . I won’t be returning that forsure

Breakfast was great and spacious setting. Check in lady was fabulous and informative.

Room was a bit small and the lady keeping the breakfast area didnt want to refill the pancake bag for 2 of us, she said there was only 5 minutes left.

Nice clean breakfast area. Plenty of food available and many selections.

Sometimes the people working treat you odd. Act like you are in their way or push their way in front of you on to the elevator even if you were there first and the only one there.
