Motel 6 Portland, OR Southeast

Not a fancy property but my room was comfortable and well kept. The location in southeast Portland was ideal for where I needed to be,

The neighborhood was more run down than I expected. I think the area is safe. My room was on the ground floor at the far end of the property. Through my window I could see through the property's fence a homeless encampment. On the morning I checked out, I saw a person who was not a guest standing on steps near the rooms. I watched as the person, who was wearing a black hoodie, leave the property by crawling through a hole in the fence. That said, I felt secure in the room.

I liked the location. Everything from stores, outside foodcourts , etc. Everything is conveniently near. After doing your shopping catching a flick at the cinemas, and or grabbing a bite to eat all available,.... You go back to your room Wich I might add, is very cozy, very comfortable, nicely clean and organized and the staff Wich I always experience everytime I have a chance to be here, will provide you with any assistance you may need. Thank you staff for your wonder customer service. I always look forward on my return.

Only thing I didn't like is having to leave on check out :-\

I was pleased with my stay at this establishment. When I first checked in I had difficulty trying to log-on to the wifi connection. After 15 minutes of trying various avenues of logging on, I went to the front office to seek help. I thought my room might be too far from the office/router which has happened at other hotels and asked to move closer to office. I tried to log-on while in the office and did so. I went back to my room and was disconnected. The manager then came down with and checked the connection with his phone and had the same issue as me. He said that he would reset all the routers in the hotel, which he did. I had no issues after that. I appreciated the fact the manager actually came to my room and checked out the issue with the wifi. The room was clean and quiet.

The towels were thin and I had to use two of them to dry off. Also, it is difficult to make a left hand turn out of the hotel to go south on 82nd Avenue. There is nothing the hotel can do about this, but you may want to plan on turning right and adjusting your route accordingly.

Clean, spacious and quiet. Good location for us. Reasonable price. Coffee at the lobby. Outside gets much cleaner than before.

No shampoo. I asked the staff but he said Motel 6 nationwide doesn’t have to provide shampoo and conditioner. I will bring them next time. Also, no continental breakfast which was provided before Motel 6 took the ownership. I needed to wait for coffee until 7am. I wish it started earlier.

Location is awesome. Your not far from any type of shopping you need to do. Plus there's transportation to where ever you need to go. After enjoying a time out n about, you come back to relax in a cozy clean room with wonderful staff nearby to assist with what you need. Thank you wonderful experience. Looking forward for future stay .

Having to checkout 🥺

The location was just around the corner from family. The beds were comfortable, the amenities perfect. There were no unpleasant odors, & our room was very clean.

It took a bit of detouring to get into the parking lot because the motel is located on a corner with a busy intersection, but I was always lucky to get an opening that made it easy to access.---It's an older building, but the rooms were still in good shape (so, OK, the shower had cigarette burns on the plastic tub, & the shower curtain was an older one, but both still functioned). There is no plug for the sink, so washing faces took getting creative, but my Sister & I managed.---We asked for no maid service, but she came in on two occasions anyway, but ONLY to empty our trash & replace out towels. She kindly left alone everything else. I still left her a tip for that! (I wish it weren't necessary to use single-ply toilet paper, but hey, I understand the reasons for choosing it.)

Good location, good price, good service, clean room. Food and grocery was walking distance and downtown was 15-20 minutes away making it a great scenic route on the way there. I might be staying here again.

It smelled like cigarettes in the non-smoking room. This was expected but did not ruin the quality of my stay. Kinda got used to it after a couple days… not really.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. I had car problems and had to have my car towed and they were very nice about it. They did everything to make sure our stay was good.

The location was not good. A lot of homeless people sitting around which made my mom and I nervous to go out to get food. Plus we worried about our vehicles. There were a lot of sirens throughout the night.

What nice staff!!!. From the manager to the maids Josefina and Nagano who flashed welcoming smiles, tgat was simply nice Everything worked. And nice extras like fridge and powerful A/C DURING A HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT DOME. MUCH APPRECIATED I'm an old guy, 83, so I requested abdctgey gave me ground floor room step from my little Honda

It's in an interesting very diverse location of the city where some people of great need live which we shoukd all know exist. But these are real people who must struggle, however everything was fine at the location. It is an urban scene, like a near rushing stram in the country or near a rumbling rail line with in a small peaceful town.

I like the cleaness and Well organized the room is. It brings a cozy homeee feeling. I appreciate front desk and staffs. Thank you. Looking forward for future stays.

There isn't nothing that I don't like while I'm here. My stays here are always great. The only down side is when I have to checkout.
