Ramada by Wyndham Portland

Google map location is misleading because there are 2 Ramadas in Portland. I went on Google map and searched the area and found out that it's near the airport. Reached there and the person @ reception told me that he doesn't have reservation under my name. I was very surprised so showed him the booking.com receipt and then his response was "aahhh, it's a different one which is 20 minutes drive from here" A gentleman who is a GM Ramada Airport property dropped me to this property's location. I would suggest to use the location provided on booking.com and not to rely on Google map for specifically this property.

The breakfast was great! Even with my dietary needs, I was able to eat. The other greatest thing, was it was right off I-205 and only minutes we s from the airport, dining and shopping.

The hotel is making updates, however some of the older carpet is frayed and you can feel the metal strip that it was attached too which can seriously poke the bottom of your foot if you are not wearing shoes.

We were very pleased with our stay. No problems bringing our Basset Hound. Wi'-Fi was good. Breakfast options were good for our needs and Parking was good. We experienced no problems at all. We also enjoyed the food carts that were just east down Stark St. Only about 3 blocks if one were walking and same side of the street, so no major traffic to cross.

Nothing I can think of.

The room was just like the pictures and had a generous amount of space. The big heating/ a.c unit was also very nice and kept the room cold. We were on the third story and it was super quite and easy to sleep.

The bathroom had a few things that needed to be updated. The shower head had an odd pressure that caused the water to spill out of the shower. As well the toilet wasn’t very sturdy and moved around a bit.

The manager on duty for our stay was incredibly helpful. He really made is feel valued as guests and special as people. We ended up in a "pets welcome" room though we were not traveling with pets, and we loved the amenity of the non-carpeted floor in the room; I may choose to book pet-friendly rooms going forward as I prefer rooms without carpeting. The decor was modern, understated, and soothing. The location was conveniently close to a free way and a shopping plaza.

The staff is awesome! This Hotel is super clean! Had one issue the manager was so kind enough to help us through our issue the best way he could.....If I could rate this hotel minus the area around I'd give them a 10 for management & staff🤷🏽‍♀️👌🏽 It's the friendliness for me ✨

Didn't like the area

The housekeepers we're excellent. Never disturb me while I was in my room but when I went out I came back and they always had come in and straightened things up and brought in new towels and stuff. The front workers were excellent too. Always ready to assist.

This is the second time I've stayed at this Ramada inn and both times I've had problems with the toilets. The chain kept getting stuck or the flapper wouldn't close etc. They waste so much water by not putting in a eco-friendly toilet that uses a half gallon of water at most and this one seems like it uses three gallons per flush.

I've stayed at this hotel in numerous times and I enjoy it every time it is a nice location to staff is friendly and you just don't know a good place to stay

The only drawback to this hotel has is some of the cream stuff is not exactly friendly and courteous they are eager to get you out of the room to clean when they can give you a few minutes of time to collect your thoughts yeah

The staff is great. Scott and Jocelyn and Monty, the manager, made us feel welcome. We spent 3 nights and they were always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was not so great, but very convenient with lots of stores and good restaurants.

The residential neighborhood behind the hotel is very low rent. Not great for dog walking.

All was Great !!!

The frig in room made a lot of noise - I just unplugged it -- didn't need it anyway and the toilet running water - needs attention ! I registered these things to fix and they were very happy to fix them !
