SpringHill Suites Portland Airport

The staff was friendly and helpful. The front doors only open to room key cards at night, which we found to be an added bonus for security. Our suite offered a lot of space. It was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was included in the room rate, which was nice.

Parking can be tricky as only the front and one side of the parking lot is for Springhill Suites. The other lots are park at your own risk, as they are not owned by the hotel. Aside from that, the stay was wonderful.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff persons were very courteous, professional, and friendly.

Breakfast was below average. Not enough paper plates, food ran out before 10 am, and the area was not clean. I understand the person taking care of breakfast had to go out and purchase more paper plates. She did her best of what was available to her to provide for the customers. Whoever was in-charge of ordering supplies and food should have planned ahead since it was a weekend. Families and business folks were staying in the hotel. However, this may just have been just "one of those weekends" and probably doesn't happen like this often.

The hotel was very clean. Location was great. It is no more than 10 mins from the city center and countless shops and restaurants to choose from. The rooms were on the larger side compared to other hotels in the price range. The bed was very comfortable and noise levels were very quiet.

Front desk was very busy during the later evenings. Our requests for fresh towels took a litte bit of a wait not really a con as these were due to safety measures that were in place for COVID.

This place was wonderful and I will never stay anywhere else in Portland ever again. I can’t believe how inexpensive it was. I have a family of 5 and we were all comfortable and not crowded at all. The number of charging ports in the room was exceptional al as well. The staff is friendly and courteous. We got in late at night and the person helping us was friendly and warm and outgoing and took the time to talk to my kids as well and tell them about the breakfast options. The lady in the morning when we checked out was amazing as well. She was so friendly. I forgot my mask when I walked in from my car and she said “hey I forget too sometimes”. I will never stay anywhere else again 💜

The fact that there’s no continental breakfast; but that’s covids fault not the hotels lol

great location. 2nd time staying at the hotel. breakfast was good. very comfy king suite with big couch.

The bathroom drain was a bit slow. Wasn't sure the staff was aware so I told them during check out.

I appreciate this location offered breakfast, even in the midst of the pandemic. The majority of the staff was extremely friendly, especially Carter. The hotel seems to be centrally located between the airport and mall area, which was very helpful.

There were a few things that were a bit off-putting such as the odd shape of the room, which made it difficult for a family of 5 to be comfortable, which is what the room was supposed to accommodate. The room was also smaller than anticipated, with questionable closet space. For a family of 5, the expectation is there will be more than one luggage stand in the room as it is definitely necessary. Lastly, while hotel shuttle service is appreciated, it was frustrating to learn of the 3-mile radius limitation. It would be nice if the shuttle went to the major transportation hubs, i.e. Airport, Amtrak, Bus station, etc.

I always like to stay at Springhill Marriot because the setting of the room is great. There is always a sofa and a desk which is semi separated from the sleeping area which created privacy. Super clean and comfortable pillows and sheets.

Pool was not open but I understand because of Covid so that is a circumstance reason. It's just a bummer I could not be able to use the pool and hot tub when I travel.

rooms spacious and clean. I requested 4 rooms to be close to each other and they met my requests. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Convenient location to food mart, fast food and maybe restaurants.

Ice machine was close. The unit was fine.

No obvious stairs near the elevator. Making a left out of property was challenging.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. White linens always make me feel more comfortable and clean. The staff was so helpful anytime I needed anything, they were there to help.

There was really nothing I would say I didn't like, everything was wonderful.
