Motel 6-Troutdale, OR - Portland East

I was in the hospitality industry for 17 plus year. Actually an MOD at this particular location for many moons. I recently checked in during the wee( audit) hours due to an unexpected event. It took me down memory lane for sure. However, it was nice to see the remodeled version of M6 but most of all enjoyed the conversation; with the young man that checked me in. I overheard him saying it was his 2nd day on the job and I have to admit he did great. I was impressed and kudos! Also, really enjoyed the GM she was training and very receptive to convo. Thanks for leaving the light on!

Swamp coolers. . . I know it’s an old building and impossible to convert but the AC still runs like a swap cooler.

first time in a motel 6 in years if not a decade and was happy i stayed! great deal, clean room and even had a pool! staff was great and helpful, room was quite and close to everything we needed. went to a concert at troutdale and this was nearby and we were so happy to get such a great deal after paying so much at other hotels! easy to get to everything we needed.

the room set up was kinda weird but it was clean and updated the best it could be. we just shifted a chair over to meet our needs so not a problem!

The room was clean and had updated laminate flooring which I really like. It looks nice and seems very practical to keep clean and sanitized. Much better option than carpet.

Air conditioning unit in room. Central air did not cool the room well and it was stuffy. Keeping the window open was not really an option and the freeway was loud. Next time I would request a room on the opposite side of the building.

From the management all the way down to the housekeepers. They all made me feel at home and safe. They were there if you needed anything and they responded quickly to anything. I've never met a group so in tune with their customers. It's a rare teach you find a place where you feel at home and safe I recommend this motel to everyone.

Location, how helpful the staff was, and there is security on site, as well as Multnomah Co Sheriff does roll through the parking lot once in a while so the activity that happens down at Loves and TA is non existent here

the room was connected with another one next door.

The staff here is amazing they continuously go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and valued as a customer and as a person Laura the manager is amazing. We love staying here it's almost like staying with family

The heating I guess it's a little outdated and they had not switched it over to air yet so the rooms were a little bit warm

They were very accommodating and it was very nice that they helped where they could in every area. I never felt more comfortable at a motel than I did when I was there. The staff there is amazing and they all enjoy their jobs as well as well as helping people!!!

If someone stays for a certain amount of time it would be awesome if there could be a rewards program that would give a free night or half off or something... Like a punch card or something!! In some situations that would really be helpful...

the rooms were cosy and clean, modern and in good condition. easy access to vehicle parked in front

there were people smoking right outside their doors and a pile of cigarette butts by those doors. for a non smoking property I’d hope they’d be further from the door or have a smoking area across the parking lot

The place is cleaning up and thats much appreciated. Not thrilled with the new gotta have current tags rule as every sitution is different & I got 2 parking tickets for parking where I was directed to park and where it's not clearly posted that there is no parking. But the rooms were exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly & courteous. The new bedspreads are. Huge added plus.

New bedspreads. Clean. Quieter than usual. Less riffraff loitering.

Caitlyn the lady that checked me in was wonderful! I really appreciate how she didnt say my room number out loud to everyone when I was checking in, especially since I am a young woman traveling alone

I'm pretty sure my ac/fan (in room 114) wasn't working but other than that everything was perfect
