The Inn at Jim Thorpe

We asked for a specific room and we got what we asked for. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We parked our car when we got there and never had to move it until we were ready to go home. If you have time to take the Trolley Tour and the Scenic Train Ride between shopping at all of the downtown stores, you wont be disappointed. The staff for both tours are very knowledgeable.

I booked the Broadway Grill for our Anniversary Breakfast. I love a good breakfast and was expecting a nice portion for $13.00pp. What we got was 2 eggs and toast which was great however, the frozen potato nuggets were thrown on the plate approximately a 1/4 cup and most pieces were smaller than a dime. I received 1 piece of bacon. We saw our server 3x's. First two to take our order and bring drinks. Second to bring the check. Not a very pleasant experience.

The Inn was very nice. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Staff was very nice and friendly. Great balcony off the second floor with a beautiful view. Lots of chairs and space to just relax. We got take out for breakfast and had a nice breakfast on the balcony. Great location. Didn't find many dining options within walking distance and most everything closed early. But overall a very nice place.

Loved the inn and our room. The breakfast at the restaurant was just ok. But overall, no complaints.

I liked a lot of things... how well kept the facility is. The room was very nice and clean. The TV was good. It was very quiet. Also that the front desk checked us in earlier than 3:00 pm and they welcomed us in a very professional way. Since it was our 12th anniversary they gave us two cookies. And when we entered our room we were surprised to see a bottle of wine with 2 wine cups! The front desk arranged our stay to be on the 2nd floor where there was access to a beautiful balcony where you could enjoy the beautiful view of the area also I loved the organic hand soap & cream, and the soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers inside the bathtub! It was awesome that in such a busy area we had a parking spot! It was our first time staying in this wonderful historic hotel and the staff made it very special!!!

That the bathroom was kind of small. The refrigerator was too small and didn't have a freezer. The bathroom sink was small.

You wont find a better location with a balance of history, charm, and service. Clearly the building Is from the 1800s so expect narrow halls, crooked floors and overall a feeling of history from the place. Staff were great and the room was adequate for our needs and price point. For a thrill book one of the haunted rooms on the second floor.

Parking is a bit limited for larger vehicles but that's the nature of Jim Thorpe

The room was very nice..just enough room. I thought the shampoo, body gel and conditioner dispensers was a different touch, nice idea. I wish we had more time to see and do everything

The jailhouse tours were only in the later afternoon It would have been nice to have earlier tours. I was surprised that all the stores closed at 5 o'clock and then there wasn't much to do. I realize that it was during the week but, it is summer.

The room was clean but extremely small and looked out on the parking lot so it was noisy. I loved the convenience of where the inn is located. Food & drinks were great, too.

Showing up to an empty restaurant within the inn for breakfast and being turned away. After we ate down the street, my party of 2 revisited the restaurant and it was still lacking customers.

Great location close to just about everything in the town . Price could of been a little cheaper but it’s the fall foliage season and the town was busy . Excellent staff and clean rooms

The price I believe could of been a little better ? But maybe that’s the cost now for rooms ?? But either way I will go up again when there a concert at the opera house

Breakfast - Good Location - Perfect Dinner when open was Good. Ea room gets a parking spot in one of their lots.

Restaurant closed for dinner on the day we arrived (Tues), but almost every other place was closed except Pizza place and Molly's at corner. Parking was tight. Didn't move car after we got a spot in one of their lots.

The hotel is at the right location - in the town of Jim Thorpe. You can walk to shops and trails. There are photos hang on the wall, showing the history of the town and the hotel. The hotel is clean and has closet. It also has a laundry bag where we put our exchanged clothes in the whole trip after we left the hotel. In other hotels/Inns/motel in our trip, we haven't found any of them provided the laundry bag. So it is a small bag, and helped us through the trip.

The room could be a little larger, but I understand the hotel cannot do anything about it. The deck on the 2nd floor is titled a little, which made me worry about its safety.

Our stay was very quiet and laid back. The decor of the building is so romantic! The room was very cozy. We came simply to get away from life and to relax which is exactly what we did. We absolutely loved how almost everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and we recommend taking a night to go eat at MYST everything was DELICIOUS.

We tried a variety of foods at the Broadway Grille and almost everything we ordered came out cold and lacking flavor, although our waitress was very nice. I would definitely expect better food and a better menu to be linked to such a cute hotel.
