Carriage Stop Bed & Breakfast

The location was conveniently close to Hershey, but still out in the country enough to be quiet and peaceful. The house and decor were very cute. Outside, there were many beautiful flower gardens. The pool area was large and had many accessories like floaties, a slide, chairs, and beach towels. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There were many small amenities that we enjoyed, such as: a mini fridge with bottles of cold water, a keurig station, bathrobes.

Our room on the second floor was very hot. Apparently there was no central air; only a portable AC unit. It was a hot summer day mind you, but our indoor room temperature was around 80 degrees most of the night.

Owners pleasant and very accommodating . Room immaculate , in room jacuzzi and bathroom; plenty of hot water. Plenty of towels. The toiletries provide are not single serving , lavender scented. Ample selections for breakfast, which large serving are given. Atmosphere relaxed and you feel at home. Fridge in dinning room with drinks for guest, as well fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies. Out door, there is an inground heated pool. This area has plenty of seating, lounge chairs , a screened gazebo, a covered grill area, with a fridge in which is stocked with water, soda and even Huggies. The fire pit is also in the pool area. The owners have marshmallows and hot dogs for you to cook over the fire, also provide large soft beach towels.

It was located about 15 minutes away from Hershey Park so very convenient for concerts or visiting the park. You had a choice of what you wanted for breakfast and it was very good. The rooms were all recently redone and each one had a private bathroom. The pool area was awesome. We wished we were able to spend more time there. It had a volleyball net, diving board, and sliding board as well as a screened gazebo with a picnic table and a bar area.

I had the third floor room and the bed was very soft and seemed to be older. I prefer a firmer mattress.

The home is absolutely stunning. You can see all the care that has been put into it to make it comfortable for their guests. The room was beautiful. Our bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely. We loved the jacuzzi tub in our room! Breakfast was outstanding. Overall, this was an exceptional place to stay, and we highly recommend it.

Host were very friendly and accommodating. Homemade breakfast included in the stay. Room was big. Had towels, shampoos and conditioner and body wash if needed. Plenty to drink. Cookies if you wanted a snack.

Spa tub wasn’t what I hoped. Pillows and bed were okay. Couldn’t make room cooler if you were to warm. Could turn heat down atleast. Use to hotels. So this may just be the norm for bed and breakfast places. So if it is well that is fine. We definitely would still stay again.

The location was perfect and close to the outlets, Hershey Park, restaurants, local attractions, antique stores and museums. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We had a wedding and were unable to use the pool. Wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor areas. We will definitely consider making a visit again.

The rooms seemed to get slightly warmer at night. Not sure if the air temp was adjusted.

Hosts Mike & Tammy were so welcoming, providing a down home, Victorian delight just minutes from Hershey & an easy drive through beautiful farmland to Lancaster! The setting was beautiful, the pool was fabulous, and breakfast delicious. Our room was aptly named Tranquility :) but my favorite hideaway was up in the attic, hidden at the top of a (albeit low ceilinged) stairway. We look forward to our next visit!

Although it’s easy to find on Laudermilch Rd, the early morning commute noise was a bit much. However, this would not deter us from staying there again.

Excellent breakfast. They went above and beyond! It happened to be my birthday when we were there. Came back to our room and found a huge display of birthday balloons waiting for me. We are already booked there for next y!!!

Everything was superb.

Our stay was wonderful. My husband and I stayed 3 days and we very much enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and cozy. The breakfasts were delicious. It was great that we got to choose our breakfast and time we wanted to eat. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was amazing! We were able to give our order for what we wanted the night before as well as the time we wanted to eat. I had French toast and an omelet. We asked to eat at 9:30am but then decided in the am that we wanted to eat at 9am, and that was no problem. Also, the pool is gorgeous.
