Best Western Grantville Hershey

I did like the size of the room. It did have a hard mattress. One woman who was bringing out the food at breakfast very nice.

I didn't like going to the lobby and sticking to the floor. The gentleman running lobby didn't even try to clean it, I came in really late and it wasn't busy. I didn't like that the first day at breakfast they had no juice in the machine. One woman was running back and forth filling up stuff, another woman was just standing watching and wasn't very personable. She seemed to act like we were bothering her. The kids went to get drink in lobby later and the next gentleman that was on ran and took juice out the machine so they couldn't get any. Most places that have coffee and juice stations keep them going for the guest which is very nice. I cleaned my room and got towels when I needed them. Put do not disturb sign up on my door and the housekeeping still came in our room.

The breakfast surprised me. It was a great selection! One of the best hotels that I've stayed in with my family for the price and amenities. The indoor pool was a big plus! And only about 15 minutes away from Hershey Park. The staff was very friendly; especially the front desk.

The only issue was the double beds. I prefer Queen beds but there was a sofa bed, which was great. At some point, my husband fell off the bed. It's just not big enough for 2 adults, but you can definitely make it work for a few nights. My only suggestion would be to invest in another waffle machine. My kids were waiting to make their waffles for some time. I don't know what it is about vacations and having fresh waffles! LOL.

Very spacious, lots of hardworking and pleasant staff, ran breakfast late enough for people who enjoy sleeping in, everything was clean and pleasant to the eye, located within reasonable distance of many fun and necessary places - but also off the beaten path so there is peaceful country. Breakfast had lots of options and was yummy. Enjoyed the gym facility. Disappointed I didn't make it into the pool, looked very nice. No real bad parking spot with doors at every entrance. Internet ran good.

Shower head hung a bit low and it was a difficult to ever find a comfortable adjustment. Pillows also could've been a bit firmer.

I was happy it wasnt on a main road so it was quiet to sleep and the guy staff was nice there and very helpful.

The woman that was there at the front was a little rude I asked if they could have the cleaning service could come in and pick up or garbage and give us new towels and toliet paper and she said to me rudely that they come only every couple of days. I did mention to her that I had a room with for 5 and only had 3 towels and 1 roll of toliet paper. When I got back to my room later that day it was cleaned but the attitude she have was not necessary. Also the rooms were a little dated and the sheets had a stain on them and when I walked outside there was a window that you can see where they stored some of the furniture and there were flies all over the window and everytime we came back to the room I had to kill like 2-3 flies a night and do not know where they were coming from.

Everything was great! The staff was extremely helpful. We had an issue with Booking.com that required help. We were double booked, on our end, but no booking came to them. Seems made the two systems were not compatible. The problem was solved with their help. Room was excellent. Location to Hershey was excellent

Didn’t care for people standing outside the door smoking. I have a child with a smoke allergy & asthma. Would prefer a designated smoking area away from the doorways

There was a kids ball tournament staying there. They had us on the top floor we would have never k own they were there. The breakfast was well stocked and kept exceptionally clean even with all the families there. My grandson left his IPad in the room we were called right away by the manager when housekeeping found it by. He even helped me with instructions on how to get fedex to pick up and deliver it to us. They were great!

There was nothing for to not like.

breakfast was exceptional! Bed was super comfortable. We stay at a lot of hotels, and this was one of the top hotels we've stayed at. We travel with the family (2 kids and mother 84) so for us value is important. We were hungry after leaving Hershey Park so we went 8 minutes away to an express Pizza Hut it worked.

nothing to complain about. Pool could have longer hours (5am until 11pm) but everything was good.

Open Kitchen for Breakfast should be open at least until 11am. We came down for breakfast and received a bag meal to take along instead of a hot meal to start our day.

Right off I-81 for our trip North from Tennessee. Covid breakfast was bagged but coffee good quality and items (muffin, apple, granola bar, water, donut) were adequate to get going for the morning, Fairly new hotel with strong water pressure in shower. Sheetz gas station 1mile down 743 S. makes breakfast items to order, very good.

Soda machine was sold out on all but two selections, lost a dollar in first machine. Probably an outside vendor leases space for machines. Rained all night long, but I can't blame hotel for that. Really nothing substantial comes to mind. A very good hotel at a very good value being so close to Hershey/Hollywood Casino attractions.

The room was a nice size. Great location to visit Hershey Park!

The staff wasn’t very accommodating. Our toilet was backed up and when I went to the front desk they sent me to the supply closet on my floor to get a plunger myself. I had forgotten a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine and I went to the front desk to see if they had one. The lady looked in a couple drawers and then told me there should be one in my room. I’m not sure if she knew what a corkscrew was even though I told her what I needed it for.I felt like she told me it was in the room just to get rid of me.
