I stayed here because of its proximity to Trees pool at PITT becacause I was participating in Senior Olympics. This hotel was VERY accommodating to all of us who stayed here, offering discounts on food in the restaurant and maps of how to get to the pool. ( It was a very short and uncomplicated walk up “cardiac hill”) This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, large bathroom. Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was $16.00. There is a nice restaurant with a limited menu. Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Parking is not free.

The price of breakfast and $30.00 a day to park. There aren’t a lot of places to eat nearby.

Staff were extremely nice, esp Anton at the front desk. I checked in after 9PM. My cc was declined at the fault of the cc company. They corrected the problem snd it went thru but I had to wait 20 minutes. I was upset because I was at the hospital all day and my car broke down on the 100 mile trip to Pittsburgh. When I explained the day I had, Anton brought me a card for a free drink snd the kind women at the bar made me a cup of coffee. They were wonderful

This may seem trivial, but I didn’t like that the bathroom door would not stay opened. Also I would be nice to have real creamer in the rooms.

Comfortable room and near where we needed to be. More than a walk to get to Carnegie Mellon. Expect to drive or get a cab there. Very busy college/kid scene all around the hotel late on a Friday.

PARKING Hotel parking spots were full, no valet offered and arriving at 11pm we were told we had to drive around 2 blocks and park behind the construction area that was next to the hotel. My husband dropped off my son and I when we arrived but when we checked out we were dragging suitcases through city streets to get back to our car. None of this was communicated on property facts/info. Not good.

The location is perfect for my purpose of visit. Other than the hotel restaurant, there are many options on the streets. The public transport - bus is easy and convenient. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They were very responsive to my questions. One even showed me what apps to use to buy tickets for the bus and to track the bus step by step.

None. The staff were responsive like refilling the body soap quickly.

The location was great. Our TV wasn't working when we arrived. The staff member sent to help us was prompt, friendly and able to fix the issue for us quickly. The manager (Koda) on Sunday when we checked out was excellent.

The pillows were not the most comfortable and the bathroom had no overhead fan. The TV wasn't working when we arrived because the power cord on the back of the TV was not connected. Finally, when we checked in, there was no reservation for us. It may have been an issue with booking.com, and the staff was helpful and got us checked in despite the problem.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet (in spite of the construction across the street). Breakfast was the average fare for hotels of this caliber, but the waiting service was excellent. The location was very convenient for our trip purpose.

The hotel needs to revisit their housekeeping policy: they only change linens/towels every fifth day. While I understand this during COVID times, and one can request toiletry refills at the front desk, the practice is subpar for a hotel of this caliber nowadays.

Centrally located to all amenities in Pittsburgh, great that there was valet parking. Room was very clean and staff was very helpful and professional, would stay there again when I have to visit again.

The lighting in the bathroom was a little dim, making it hard to apply makeup. Would appreciate more countertop space to place toiletries. Contruction of new building in the next block, so road was closed once when returning from outing to access valet parking.

the staff was amazing - friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to fulfill out of the ordinary requests. I was really impressed with their approach with guests and their friendliness

both our room and my daughter's bathrooms were dirty, with hair on the floor and in the shower drain. Pretty unacceptable. When asked to have it cleaned, my daughter was told it would be taken care of immediately but no one ever came to clean it. We understand and are 100% accepting of the fact that Covid has taken a toll on staffing but a clean bathroom is pretty much like having clean sheets on the bed.

Gorgeous facility. Comfortable and well maintained.

The valley parking issue was awful. There were so many people arriving that there were literally cars parked everywhere. I feel that the motel needs to be more upfront in the “correct” way to utilize the parking provided. Part of the issue was not their fault, because another person left their car sit there with no keys it, thus blocking the entire area. I just feel like the issue could have been avoided with a “must read” portion of how to park appropriately. Granted some won’t read it, but I’d have appreciated knowing the “plan.”

Location was great. Lots of restaurants and shops around

Didn’t appreciate being forced to do valet parking and pay $40 when we could have parked our car ourself in the garage. The hotel was further from Pitt than another one I stayed at and had I know I have to pay extra for parking and wait to get my car and drive to Pitt I would have stayed in the other hotel without valet parking and walk to the university.
