Nice to not have to go out for breakfast and breakfast was pretty OK.

Like to take our breakfast back to our room but But only saw 2 trays and they were snapped up . Actually went out and bought a plastic container to use as a tray the 2nd day. Only one of the 2 elevators was working for 2 of the days we were there, they got the 2nd going on the 3rd. We were on the 2nd floor and we heard a bird making some sounds 11pm and early in the morning around 4am. Went outside and watched and saw a big nest between the n's in the sign for Hampton Inn . I did tell the staff about it and they came out and looked at it.

The room was perfectly clean. The wall behind the accent chair was dirty and the chair had a stain. Booth seating in the breakfast lounge could use more cushioning. When we sat down, we sunk down to where the table came up to our chests.

Asked for raised toilet seat and grab bars.....toilet seat was not there.... receptionist had to call manager to find one.....And I think you need to put grab bars near toilet also....hard to get up off of toilet if handicapped.... Also did not see a restroom in lobby and should have one there. Other than those few things....room was very comfortable and staff very nice.

I was traveling from OH to CT right before Thanksgiving so our room on the way to CT was way better and less expensive than the one we got on the way back. Having a microwave and fridge is a huge plus. The breakfast and check-in staff were wonderful. My kids loved it.

All rooms should have a fridge and microwave. Since there is no restaurant at the hotel for dinner, it would have been nice to heat leftovers instead of having to find take out.

Literally one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I travel throughout the country weekly. I know a great hotel and staff. The staff was top notch. The staff that was running the complementary breakfast was absolutely incredible. Extremely attentive to guests. They kept the area extremely clean. Our room was extremely clean as well. Nothing. I loved everything.

It was like heaven. Clean, comfortable. Great linen, perfect mattress. Quiet. Great young man checking us in. Fresh popcorn! We don't usually choose Hampton as 20 to 30 more then Holiday Express. This was a mobile app special. Changed our minds. Will be worth the extra in the future. Covid breakfast good as well. Not the spread as in the past but scrambled eggs , sausage and waffles. No Jimmy Dean sandwich in a bag! And...excellent coffee.

A number of people were sent away because rooms were not cleaned due to no staff. It was a problem in restaurants also. Maybe we need to allow more immigrants in the country who will accept lower paying jobs.

The breakfast was very good and the staff that served the breakfast were friendly and very attentive! We also appreciated the girl at the desk in the evening who recommended a very nice restaurant!

It was a little hard to get to, when we didn’t know the city, but we found it and enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at the same hotel on the way to and from vacation. Somerset is a perfect location to break up the trip. I have always had good experiences when staying at Hampton Inns. This hotel felt clean and well maintained as well. The first stay the breakfast was bland and boring and there was no where to sit. The stay (about 2 weeks later) had tasty eggs. Still a challenge to find seating.

Not enough seating for breakfast. My parents would have stayed at this hotel too if pets were allowed.

Staff was great! Liked having a place to gather our group in the lobby for cards, visits, etc.

Loved having a roll in shower for guest with a wheelchair but had to purchase a riser for the toilet and bed was too low for guest to use. Ended up sleeping in the chair for most of the stay. Breakfast was not as expected but we understood covid changes and just went out.
