Cleanliness, breakfast, most staff very helpful and friendly, and very close to our son and his family who we come to visit.

No real deals available like some other hotels through booking sites. Also, clearly states breakfast is until 10a.m., and often times we come down at 9:30, and almost everything is gone. We were told at 9:28am this most recent trip that it was too late to get anymore food ready. I love the sausage biscuits and gravy and it was gone. I asked kindly, twice, if I could please get some and was told no, sorry. Not a huge deal overall, but should have all items available til specified time. This happened once before too. This time it was on Tues morn, 12/26/23.

Breakfast included a nice variety of choices, including fresh apples and oranges. The staff was efficient and friendly. Some of our family members were also staying there, and one evening we picked up pizza for dinner and ate together in the dining room. The lady at the desk made us feel very welcome to use the space.

One thing that disappointed me was the selection of teabags. There were a few different types of tea, including Earl Grey, Constant Comment, Lemon Lift, and Green tea. However, there was no plain black tea. I drank the Earl Grey, but the bergamot flavor isn't really my "cup of tea" in the morning. Also, without offering too much information, I'd like to say I disliked the toilet paper. I don't know how other travelers feel, but I'd be happy to pay a dollar or two more and get decent bathroom tissue.

Breakfast was very good. The selection was great and included hot items. Coffee and juices were always available. The lady that maintained the breakfast buffet was lovely and helpful. I really enjoyed chatting with her. She took pride in her job and kept the breakfast area very clean. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Made sure that our requests were attended to.

I wish they had a makeup mirror/magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The shower curtain needed to be laundered as there was mildew at the bottom. A safe to lock valuables would be appreciated. Leave a note pad and pen to write down information.

the bathroom was not properly clean. The over flow drain had caked on matter on it. It was disgusting. There was a huge bug caught in the light fixture. in addition, the hotel did not have handless soap in the bathroom or handless hand sanitary dispenser’s in the elevator or common areas.

The location it was not to far from the stores and family I was visiting. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful if you had any questions will definitely stay here again

We are in the process of closing on a home in Camden which has been super stressful. Our stay here has helped alleviate some of that stress. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean and well kept. Our 9 year old left a little note letting the hotel know how she enjoyed her stay. The lady who cleaned our room was sweet enough to take the time to respond to her and left her a little note which made her day. We will be recommending any of our family that comes to visit to stay here. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Camden you will not be disappointed!

It was new, aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were clean, breakfast was GREAT!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Would stay again!

The breakfast was excellent and managed by a friendly, caring woman who was a wonderful hostess.

The weekend price differential was too much. The internet advertised much lower rates than were the actual ones so I felt very mislead.

The other properties are overpriced for Camden SC. I am aware the Holiday Inn across the street is the same owner but the environment is friendlier at the Hampton Inn. I have family in Camden and we will definitely be having events there for family in the upcoming future. The hotel is very upscale for Camden. A refreshing change!
