Hampton Inn Columbia I-20-Clemson Road

Wonderful staff and the room was extremely clean. The shower was lovely and we were extremely impressed with the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion available. Bed was so comfortable, room was very quiet. Just a wonderful stay!

The only negative we encountered was that at 6:15 the breakfast was still not ready and there were no staff available for assistance. We had to leave to get to our event on time and had to get breakfast on the road.

The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The privacy curtain had a broken pull handle. I'm short so I couldn't reach it to close my curtain to keep people from seeing in and filtering light. Also one of the shower doors was broken. It swang into the shower, the track the door was on was moldy. Really should replace these items.

Upon arriving i had to wait about 15 mins for previous customers to finish up. They were giving the older lady a bit of a hard time. She took it with a smile on her face the entire time. When it was my turn she apologized to me several times and gave me snack bag for my patience. That was a extra jester that was highly appreciated but not necessary.

The day of checkout the cleaning Staff opened our hotel room while we were sleeping. We still had 2 hours before checkout and my partner and I was asleep in the nude. This isn't the first time at this hotel that happened to us. There's gotta be a better way to determine who's checkout early or not.

Breakfast was amazing. And room was great besides sand on floor. Front desk was very polite and my couple of other stays that week were good except for housekeeping slamming doors

That the morning wake up knock lasted from 9 til 11:30. I didn't need to be awoke at 9. And I couldnt believe they slammed all other doors on my floor for 3hours. And had no consideration for people sleeping in the rooms next to them.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the hotels in Columbia Sc aren't great so I was ready for the worst. But the staff was great and the room was clean with all the comforts I could want.

I didn't like how far away the TV was from the bed, I wear glasses so it was pretty hard for me to see. But other than that I was completely satisfied!!

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was stocked clean and organized.

Unfortunately the room was not very clean and there were hairs and stains on the sheets and couch. For 140 a night I could have booked a very nice clean airbnb stay with alot more amentities.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Had hot water in the shower within 15 seconds. I came in on a motorcycle and they let me park it under the overhang out of the rain!

The room was very stuffy when I entered. The thermostat was set to 65, but the air coming out of the unit was only cool, not cold. It took over an hour for three room to cool off.

Every employee we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had good variety and everything was fresh and hot. I loved that the room was not carpeted! Overall very happy and would absolutely stay here again!

The only negative, not even super bad was the pool could have been cleaned of debris. Minor, just some leaves and stuff.

I loved the hardwood floors and the beds were comfortable.

The parking lot was congested and a night we had a hard time finding a space to park. Also, it's a little scary for a woman parking at night near the dumpsters and have to walk a distance to get to the front door. The hotel need a bigger parking lot and more lighting in the parking area.

I loved the set up of the room. The bathroom could have been cleaned more. Scum in shower, counter top needs to be replaced, and some small stain on bathroom floor. Housekeeping staff is definitely not what it used to be which is why I dont tip them anymore. But it was clean overall. Bed slept poorly. Get new pillows and better more comfortable beds.
