Grande Shores

We really enjoyed our stay. From the time we walked in, a day early, until check-out the staff was so friendly, accommodating, helpful, etc. Nem assisted us with the rooms; Aro (sp?) assisted us with securing parking for our motorcycle and trailer to include getting us directions to go visit friends. The staff/bartender at the Cafe were delightful. We had the best, friendliest service and the food was delicious.

Nothing serious. We felt the building showed some fair wear and tear so to speak however it was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is right on the beach and the beach was beautiful. The parking garage is attached to the hotel so you park on the floor you stay so no hauling luggage up the elevator. It was 15 mins on either side to everything. We had a 4 bed room which was massive, and had 2 bathrooms. Since the parking garage is on the one side all the rooms face the ocean so even though we didn't have a balcony we had a great view of the ocean. The hot tubs were hot and the pools were heated. I thought the beds were comfortable. If you want to be on the beach and close to everything this is a great place to stay.

This hotel needs some polish, our room had a kitchenette but the cabinets looked like they were about to fall off but this is the worst thing I can say it just need some polish. Also beware this is a timeshare hotel which means they will try to sell you a timeshare and we almost fell for it. The final time share "closer", not our original guy, was very rude and said god would want us to do it so we ran out of there. But we did get money for going so it wasn't that bad I'm just glad we didn't fall for it or this would have been our last vacation.

The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and parking is close to the rooms. I arrived late, and they offered a late checkout which was extremely nice. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The location was wonderful and the ocean front room views were beautiful! The rooms were also a great size and beds were very comfortable! The DVD rental option was awesome as well!

There was some chips on our floor upon arrival that didn’t get cleaned up prior to our arrival. The upstairs outdoor pool was pretty dirty and had a lot of bugs and leaves floating around in it.

The location was absolutely amazing! A few short steps to the beach and the hotel had 4 hot tubs! our balcony had a fantastic view of the ocean and I would definitely stay here again!

The beds were a little stiff and then bathroom was tiny, but it was just me and my fiancé so we didn’t need anything huge.

The entire hotel is well kept and always clean and neat. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The beds are very comfortable. There are three pools, two lazy rivers, some hot tubs, etc. The indoor pool is great if it's cool or raining. There are plenty of lounge chairs at each area and pool towels available. There is a restaurant on site but also grills by the pool area that you can use. The staff was great! The parking deck adjoining the hotel is very convenient. Grand Shores is in a quieter area but close to everything. The beach is beautiful and a lifeguard right in front of the hotel.

The kitchen could use a few more items, such as bowls to put food in that you cook, cereal bowls, a tea pitcher, etc.

Grande shores is the only hotel me and my family will stay at . This was our 2nd time staying here. We had a ocean front room which was so beautiful !!It's such a family friendly hotel with so much to do . They have activities for kids throughout the day which is so neat !! My 11 year old son enjoyed it we did a shark tooth hunt and a craft which was slime making. They have swimming pools hot tubs and lazy rivers my son loves the swimming pools. When you wanna just go to the beach your just a foots away!! I woke up in the morning and walked down to the beach to watch the sunrise so beautiful!!We we're always at the beach it was so convenient!!!Everyone at the hotel is so welcoming too!! And our room was very clean! Its also in a great location!! We plan on going back to Myrtle Beach next year again and of course staying here again !!!

The gentleman who checked us in was absolutely the best! I have been trying to remember his name and I will find out when I contact the resort. He went above and beyond and took care of us. We arrived later than we anticipated and minutes before arriving received a call that our very dear friend and neighbor of 27 yrs had just died after a fall in his home. We were very distraught to say the least. We were heading back home from Orlando from my husband's sister's memorial and we were tired and decided to stop in Myrtle Beach to relax. I went onto Booking.com and found an amazing last minute rate. We love Booking.com and only use them when booking our accommodations!! We always find the best rates!

Nothing negative to say!

The staff was phenomenal and that included maintenance and custodians. Everyone spoke when you passed them and were exceptionally pleasant. The pleasantness created a friendly culture of the resort. The grounds were beautiful with colorful flowers and manicured lawns. The pool drink cabana area staff and drinks were also delicious and nice. The Virgin daiquiris were great and so was the gentleman and lady working the area. We were also thankful to have enough towels and washcloths daily.

I wished my bed was a bit more firm and comfortable.I also wished my room had a desk. I had work that I needed to do but had to work on the bed. I was not pleased to not have a desk and chair.

Location, large indoor hot tub, excellent communication for housekeeping needs. Friendly staff at desk. We drove to 5th floor in parking garage and were only a few feet from room. Pool guy who talked to some kids at indoor pool was very respectful and kind.

No mention before arrival of scaffolding outside our balcony or that outdoor pool and lazy river closed for repairs. Scaffolding came down 2nd day, but repairs on outside pool/lazy river continued and were noisy. Towels at hot tub ran out early every day and the only outdoor shower for sand was near closed pool, but you had to walk back into sand before getting to elevator after using it. No microwave in room. It wasn't listed so we didn't get our hopes up, but be forewarned a nice snack of micro popcorn at night or warming baby food etc. isn't going to happen.
