Best Western Heritage Inn - Chattanooga

Love the restaurant! Great breakfast!! And the staff is awesome! My son got a ring stuck on his finger., and we tried everything to get it off. It was 2am, and his finger was getting more swollen and painful, so it was looking like a trip to ER. We decided to go to the front desk and see if maybe maintenance had tools that we could borrow. The guy at the desk said that maintenance doesn't work nightshift.. However, he made a phone call and A man appeared within about 5 minutes with some tools. He was quickly able to remove the ring with no problem. I wish I had gotten their names, but anyway I am very grateful that they were kind and went above and beyond. They most likely saved me a good amount of time and money and BS at the ER. Thanks again!!!

2 years ago we stayed when it was the Baymont Inn. It was dirty, rooms smelled like bleach. After that, we started staying at the Hampton Inn. When we travel to Florida we will stay in Chattanooga for the night. Hampton was booked so I found the Heritage Inn, not knowing that it was previously the Baymont. They had everything that I needed when traveling . Especially pets. I booked it not knowing that the hotel had hands. We didn’t realize that until we arrived. What a shock! The desk staff was extremely kind. The room was clean and it didn’t stink. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good and the cost was so much lower than The Hampton. When need to spend the night in Chattanooga, your hotel the my first choice.

The attached restaurant - The City Cafe- is excellent!!! It is a destination eating establishment. The cake are spectacular! Portion size is huge, so consider sharing.

It is an older but kept up motel so everything is not pristine like the expensive places by the expressway. Great value for the money. Great location. We will stay there again!

We like to stay here because of the easy access from the freeway, and we like the City Cafe restaurant. We have stayed here before and the menu is big at the Cafe and the food is great. The premises both inside and outside our room are always clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable too.

I did not like the bathroom. It was very small and the toilet was very low to the floor, which makes it hard for senior citizen visitors to get on and off the toilet seat. It belonged in an elementary school lavatory. From now on I’ll reserve a handicap room and hope the facilities will accommodate a senior citizen visitor better. The people in the room next to us sat outside their room and smoked marijuana, which smellled up our room each time we opened our door.

The service was great, room great, food at restaurant was the best, ate there for dinner and breakfast I had bought 2 breakfast paid extra 20.00, it was 35.00 when I tried to use my vouchers the women said I could only use one, I told her I already paid for these and she said she didn't care who I called I could only use one. Manger can out and took the two, felt like I treated as if I was trying to get something for free don't pay extra for the breakfast, just go get it and pay then the pool was green, I called on Wednesday to make sure if was open before I booked and was told yes, no one dared to get in that pool

The cafe is amazing. Apparently a local fave too. Again. Parking could be an issue. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating to our needs, and the front desk staff were all very helpful. We had a maintenance issue with the first room we were given, but immediately accommodated into a new room the same size. No downgrade. Very helpful and kind staff all around.

Parking lot access is difficult at times due to corner location. Like big streets grew up around it and they took a larger part of the front parking lot out. Just make sure your going the right direction and don't meet another car trying to get through going the opposite direction, it's one way.

Hidden Gem, well priced with very accommodating features. And surprise there is one of the most unique diners inside of this motel, stayed a week no issues will be staying again. Comfortable beds, internet and interstate access and the diner.

The location was questionable

The restaurant was really really good. Though they could use some training on how to cook the veggies till they are done. Mine were still raw. The salads were the best I think I have ever gotten in a restaurant before. The desserts were amazing. The room was great except I think they could think more on the fact they will be having over weight guests and so their seats need to fit them. Also the bathrooms where the toilet and tub is was really tiny. The shampoo conditioner and body wash was a unexpected but nice touch. The carpet in rooms could use a update. Everything else was great.

The size of toilet and tub area. The seats in room being a size someone plus size could be more comfortable sitting in. The carpets being changed out/ not dingy. Not all cable channels said to be available worked.

our rooms entry door did not have a weather seal around it so you could here outside noise as if it was in the room. Also no weather stripping means insects can easily come in through the gaps between the door and door frame.
