The Baymont in Columbia met our needs as a last-minute stay traveling from FL to MI. It was apparently being remodeled, however we did not see signs of construction - all appeared in order. The room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room. We had received an email from Booking.com that there was not currently breakfast service, however breakfast WAS being offered. Staff said Baymont never sends out emails such as this. My only negative comment could be that it was 12 miles west of Highway 65 rather than more conveniently located, however it was my mistake for not checking the location more closely. After a very long day of driving it was wonderful to have an Applebees right next door, which offered a small discount to Baymont customers.

Would have had breakfast there had we thought it was being served. Brought our own instead.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast had a good selection. The hotel was remodeling but was clean. Large rooms. The colors they were using to redecorate gave the hotel feel clean. The location is close to dining and Wal-Mart for last minute items.

Tub kept making a loud pop when moving. The pool and fitness center were closed but the listing did not state. Understandable during construction but would have liked to know before.

Very convenient location near our son and lots of places to visit / eat. Staff was responsive to needs and friendly.

The rooms were cozy but a little smaller than I prefer. The breakfast was good but choices were pretty limited.

Needed a stopper in the bathtub. Needed bedside lamps for reading. Needed an iron and ironing board in the room

I slept a little late and missed breakfast 3 days. When I did have breakfast, it was good. I had biscuits and bacon or sausage, no gravy. The coffee was very good.

Clean room, comfortable bed

Breakfast is not being offered. Most hotels offer grab and go options while they figure out when to go back to the regular breakfast options. This location doesn't even keep hot coffe or water in the lobby. Lobby coffee was cold and had to ask for hot water..

Breakfast was ok considering Covid restrictions. Cold cereal, yogurt, bagels with spreads, fresh fruit, great coffee.

Hot breakfast with waffels would have been nice. Painting in room could have been finished but did not bother us.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated being placed on the first floor. The bed was comfortable, and the room was roomy. Overall it was clean and just what we needed for the night. I really liked that there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. I also appreciated the bathroom being split so that the sink was separate and available while my husband took a shower.

There were quite a few stains on the carpet and on the bed cover. I think it just could use a little updating is all. The drain catcher in the bathroom had come unhooked. I let the attendant know about that.

They have been remodeling for years, it looks like they are getting closest to finishing.

The pool was close.

The room was nice and clean, good TV. the staff was very helpful and courteous , I would stay here again, convenient location

no breakfast, served as advertised, only one wash cloth for two people , address did not come up well on gps., light coming through the edges, curtain not blocking light well.
