This room was practically half the price of many nearby chain hotel rooms, so we were not expecting much. Boy were we wrong! The check-in/check-out processes were a breeze; both owners were friendly and accomodating. We had a king room on an upper floor. The bed was very comfortable and everything clean as a pin. The hotel provides ice, a vending machine for drinks, and self-serve laundry facilities if you need those. There was coffee available in the lobby at 7 each morning.

I would definitely stay here in the future, but because it is so near a connecting roadway, bring earplugs. We always travel with a box fan and white noise machine and we could still hear the passing ambulances/LEOs before we fell into a deep sleep.

The room was big and clean. The bed was firm but snuggly; there were plenty of pillows on the bed. The room had a sizable refrigerator, a microwave, and a hairdryer. The manager and his assistant were very pleasant to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend this motel. It’s a great value and very clean.

The lights are very bright and there’s not a way to dim them. Despite the brightness of the lights, there isn’t good lighting to put on makeup or using the desk.

my stay at legacy has been the most relaxing stay I have had for years . the room I stayed was spacious warm and comfortable. clean towels everyday. if your out and about, traveling and drive through Cookeville and what to stay a few days. it will be well worth your money to stay over at the Legacy

Absolutely the cleanest hotel in Cookeville. I purposely tried to be difficult during check-in, and the desk reception kept her composure. Remained professional, I almost giggled as she was so in control of the situation. Well done !!

Breakfast could make a comeback, raise the prices. Covid-19 signs still up, they need to come down. That's my only criticism, place was great.

The room was clean and comfortable, and Vilpa, the manager, was welcoming and efficient. And in the morning, when I checked out, she greeted me by name.

At five-foot-two, I had some trouble getting in and out of the bed. But it was comfortable. Also, the bathtub would have benefitted from a nonslip surface.

Staff was friendly, received a room on the first floor on request, microwave and fridge were working properly, room and bathroom was clean, ac was good. Ample amount of parking. Felt safe.

For the refundable 20$ deposit, paying with a credit card option should be provided. But atm was der to withdraw cash.

The lady at the desk greeted me by name, that was very nice and I noticed and appreciated it right away. The check in was quick and hassle free. Staff was very friendly had no issues whatsoever. For the price you can't beat it.
