When we checked in Mary was at the front desk and greeted us with a warm smile and welcome. Check in was fast and easy. We had a room that was on the 2nd floor and easy to get to. We had parked in the back during our stay and the door was next to the stairs to reach our room was a great convenience going in and out of the hotel. the room as really nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable and soft as they just cushioned around you for a great sleep. The TV is a nice setup that both beds could see it without any problems. We were close to a highway and you could not hear traffic noise, even at night. The bathroom was nice and open that 2 people could be in there at the same time. My wife said she really loved the shower as you had a rain type showerhead and a shower wand. The breakfast was simple, but filling as they had scrambled eggs, link sausage, biscuits and gravy to go on them if you wanted. They had a pancake station instead of a waffle type and it was interesting to watch it being made while you waited for them. There were yogurts, cereal and milk plus bread and bagels for toasting. To drinks were juices and coffee. The staff was always friendly and gave you a nice smile and hello when you saw them. The hotel has been renovated and I think it is a great plus for them. Just a side note there is a Mexican restaurant that you can walk to that is in front of the hotel by the highway. The food is really delicious and filling. Make sure to have the churro's for dessert as you will not be disappointed. Check out was easy and pleasant. Mary was there so we were able to thank her for the time we had there and we would definitely be back again.

This is not so much a complaint as just a suggestion that they fix the sliding door for the bathroom to close all the way and not open back up about 6in or so and this was not a thing that we found too inconvenient as we have found from other hotels that we have stayed at from different brands have had the same problem.

The room was ready when we checked in, and it was clean and comfortable.

The toilet design is not good. Presumably these are new toilets, but they are very low, and they don't flush as intended. Even with only paper in the bowl, the water doesn't wash it down on the first flush. Inefficient and uncomfortable. Also, despite accepting pets, their policy is NOT friendly. You sign a statement saying you will not leave the dog unattended, even in a crate, at any time. I understand the rationale, but when it is 90 degrees outside and you need to grab a quick dinner, it is unsafe for a pet to be left in the car. A better policy would be for the owner to be held financially accountable for any damages, and to be ejected if the dog receives complaints from others.

Lots of little extras - bed was really comfy, things were new. Breakfast was good and hot (biscuits, eggs, sausage), location close to interstate was good. Very clean and quiet. I'd stay here again!

Same breakfast every day - it'd be good to switch it up. Also - very important - make sure you give them **the exact time** you really think you'll be there. I decided to stop off and see a friend and they called me to see if I was still coming. I read online that other people who were later than anticipated had their reservations cancelled as no shows. This did not happen to me but I did think it was a little odd that they called me like that. I travel all the time and haven't ever had a hotel be this concerned about why I wasn't there at the exact time I put on the web site I'd be there.

Hotel was convenient, check in was fast, and hotel was indeed renovated. Loved the bed--extremely comfortable!

Nothing that I really did not like. Just noticed a very few maintenance issues. A bit of what appears to be mold on the ceiling over the shower; a piece of sliding bathroom door hardware missing; one light out by room doorway; lights over shower need to be checked for bulb replacement; sink had no stopper so valuables could easily go down the drain if not careful. Nothing major, but items that need to be maintained.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was nice. Overall, the hotel is fresh and new and close to good places to eat and get fueled up for the road.

Breakfast was, like most hotel breakfast bars, barely edible. The waffle maker was on the fritz, and they served those fake eggs and grey sausage that I don't trust. The times I've tried them, they taste terrible, not like real eggs and sausage at all. The hotel shouldn't even bother putting out stuff like that. Stick to fruit, some breakfast pastry (they served Twinkies and ding dongs - for breakfast? Why not scones?) The staff member at the check in desk told me my AMEX card was declined and wasn't going to take it until I told him he was probably using the wrong security code. "I need a code?" he asked, and then handed it over to me to swipe, which I did, and the card went right through. I think some of these chains hire people to fill a slot, then don't bother training them.

The staff was great, but one member stood out above all else. Steve at the desk was very helpful and personable. We asked for recommendations and directions and his help made our time in Murfreesboro better than we could have imagined. People like Steve are hard to find and Wingate is lucky to have him.

Didn't like the sliding door to the bathroom, no privacy.

Could tell it had been recently redone. Clean and comfortable rooms and bed. Nice chair with ottoman for relaxing. Lots of light in room and bathroom. Nice big shower. Tons of outlets and USB ports which was very helpful. Anne at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Very neat to see that a young man who was maintaining the breakfast area stepped over to check out people at the front desk while the other staff was out on a call. Appeared to have cross trained their staff which was very nice to see. He was also very pleasant. Fast food lovers paradise, probably 10 different ones within 5 mins of the hotel.

No poop bags in the dog walking area. I bring my own, but apparently a lot of people don't! Lights in shower and one in hallway were constantly flickering.

The renovation was very well done. Excellent choice of material. Very comfortable and functional. We were in 216 and it does need 4 little fixes: 1 ) one of the entry way pendants isn’t working . 2) The sliding bathroom door is missing the handle hardware and thus doesn’t look good on the inside . 3) the lights in the shower don’t work. 4) love the nice shower especially having a hand held shower but it does leak water onto the bathroom floor.

Breakfast was excellent. Make your own pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, sausages, eggs biscuits & gravy, bagels, ding dongs, twinkles, wide beverage selection and more. Definitely the best breakfast spread I've ever had at any hotel and many restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. If the rest of their chain is the same, they'll be my first choice when I travel.

Only negatives was bathroom door was a roll door like on a barn. It had no way of locking, left a gap between door and wall, so anyone could see in and see you including a direct view of mirror reflecting entire clear glass shower or anyone in it. Door plus no exhaust fan let odors into room worst than sealing door & exhaust fan room. But the positives far outweighs this, and staff is bringing it up to maintenance to get resolved. Even with, I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The beds and pillows are phenomenal. The staff is always nice. I wish the booking listing showed a pool it was a pleasant surprise. And breakfast was great. 2nd time staying.

The first time we stayed it was very clean with no facility issues, this time seemed still clean but not as clean. Also the facilty seemed to need maintenance. Lights were out, flooring loose in room and toilet seat loose. The fragrance used is a little overpowering at first.seemed more family and busines oriented the first time. Not so much this time.. Staying again in august will see if things better or worse.
