The hotel was very clean. It was quiet. Both of the staff at the reception desk were very nice. The staff cleaning up in the morning were friendly too. But I find when you are nice to people, most tend to react nicely back. The beds in my opinion were great. A good balance between hard and soft. The breakfast options were standard breads, muffins, cereals, probably some eggs and juices. It was what I expected and what most hotels put out. I wasn't able to taste it because I have too many food allergies to most of it. But it looked good. There were plenty of people eating it and they seemed happy with it. I felt really comfortable here and would choose it again if I am in the area again.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. It was a nice place to visit.

We arrived really late, after midnight, but were welcomed by the girl at the front desk. She was very accommodating with making sure the Rewards Points were posted to my BW account, as I had reserved the room with booking.com. Since we only needed the room for the one night, it was a pleasant stay. Everything was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, and it was a quiet, peaceful night. Location was easy to get to exiting the highway, but it was a bit more challenging when leaving the parking lot...

The bathroom was a little cramped, with only a walk-in shower (no bathtub), but it was sufficient. Guess we are a bit spoiled with most bathrooms having a lot more space (towel bars, clothes hook, etc.). It was a "one person" bathroom. LOL When leaving the parking lot, we were needing to head North instead of entering the highway, which required turning right on to a side road. The GPS was probably the problem, nothing the hotel was at fault with. We ended up being navigated to a dirt road! It was quite an adventure, to say the least. I didn't pay attention to if there was an easy entry onto I-20, since we were going a different direction.

We were warmly greeted when we checked in and got to our room quickly. We were pretty tired after driving from Albuquerque to the Carlsbad Caverns, walking around there and then driving to Abilene! The beds here were so comfortable and the breakfast was great! There was an excellent mix of hot and cold items and good coffee. Thank you, Best Western, for a great stay!

Choices and location were very good

Parking area for vehicles pulling trailers had very unstable gravel, and was quite small. The location of the parking also did not allow for easy access to the hotel - had to walk quite a distance with luggage to the north or south end of the hotel to enter. Location of the hotel was a little isolated from amenities like restaurants, auto services, etc.

Breakfast was awesome. The pool was refreshing and had good hours. The bed was comfy.

They cleaned our room before 9:30, while we were eating breakfast. I wasn't prepared for this, so I'd left things out that I normally wouldn't have left out. Also, we hadn't taken showers, so we didn't have clean towels for the next day.

Always clean, if there’s an issue they get right on it to fix it or move you, never do you have to wait.

One lady came up to the counter one night when I was requesting more coffee for my room, looked mad as hell, did not speak, did not smile, just glared at everyone; turned out she was the owners wife.

I've stayed in 5 Texas/Arkansas Best Westerns in recent weeks, and this one (the oldest building of them) along with the Texarkana location, are spot-on examples of what Best Western should strive for. The Remodel looks great, it is very clean, all of the staff members were very competent at their jobs and super friendly. These spacious guest rooms with the 2 queen beds and the huge tv had everything I needed - including non-skimpy towel service. Best Western - have these guys show Longview and Wills Point how it's done.

I found only one criticism - the floor lamp has a foot switch, and it was not on the floor. - it was bundled up with the cord. lol thats it

Breakfast was awesome!! Staff was awesome!! The breakfast lady went above and beyond in her helpfulness!!! Very nice lady!!! Rooms were clean. A few problems- toilet was stopped up. Had to go down the hall and use the public bathroom. No hand-soap in the room. No soap in the soap dispenser in the public bathroom

The breakfast was great though staff was wonderful when you really had a nice time in there it was the last birthday get away from me.

All of the NBC stations were blocked and we couldn't do what we went there for to watch the football game in the room it was blocked the Dallas cowboys against the 49ers so we had to go elsewhere that was the only thing wrong.

arrived at 5:15 to register. Girl at front desk immediately expressed a superior attitude telling me I could not pay cash for the room and there would be an extra $50 for pet and smoking deposit. we were in a non smoking room and did NOT have a pet. She refused to except cash for the room and required me to use card for deposit. it was confusing and frustrating and her voice was filled with attitude and disrespect. will not stay here again. She informed me my card could be held for up to 3 days. There was NOTHING ON WEB THAT PREPARED ME FOR THIS.
