Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Abilene Mall South, an IHG Hotel

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was also great. My kids had a great time in the pool as well. Plus there was great shower pressure and temp. Very pleased.

Took me a while to figure out that the ac/heater is thermostat controlled now. Been so long since I used a hotel that I didnt know they weren't controlled on the unit anymore. Good change just wasnt aware it worked that way. Orange juice at the breakfast bar tasted mostly like water. Other than that great stay and would stay again.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet. Best Breakfast EVER. Omelettes, Biscuits & Gravy, Sausage, Potatoes, Oatmeal, Hot Cinnamon Rolls, Breads, Muffins, Yogurts, the works. The tree outside the window was full of grackles. FULL. Super noisy until about 8:30. They went to sleep and left in the morning. I enjoyed hearing them.

The room had an odor, like dog. Could have been from the sink though. When turning on the water a terrible sewer smell came up. Nasty. I notified them. Coffee maker only worked when it wanted to.

Staff very friendly, breakfast was great, clean rooms & lobby.

Our room was on the top floor (which we requested) however the tree outside our window was covered in birds that squawked each night we were there until early morning. I did speak with the sweet lady at the front desk when we checked out about the birds & she said next time we stay please request a room away from the trees. Apparently the birds have taken over every business in that area.

Modern room - smelled fresh Bedding very nice - Mattress nice & soft Had shower gel/shampoo/conditioner containers mounted on the wall with very good products in them A/C worked good Breakfast was excellent Pillows were very nice and usable TV was large and had lots of channels Room had 2 queen beds with ample room to walk around in it No noise in room from outside Hall was clean and inviting

Only thing I would change was for them to leave an extra coffee cup and K-cup for morning coffee & clean the pool better

Absolutely one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in this price range in all of the lower 48. I have stayed in over 60 different hotels in the past 2 years so this is saying something. Clean, very clean, comfortable beds, 55 inch TV with Direct TV, plenty of USB and regular plugs in the room. Safe in the closet. Separate area for the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice little entry table to place keys, cards and sun glasses on. Absolutely the best hot breakfast since the pandemic started. Pancake machine, push a button and in 1 minute 2 pancakes come out. Scrambled eggs, egg white omelets, crispy bacon, sausage, cereal, so many juices, coffee, tea, bagels with cream cheese and yummy fresh cinnamon sticky buns. Soft, comfy sheets, true room blackout shades and subdued lighting. I will be back!

Checking in and out were easy. Hotel staff were friendly. Rooms and main hotel areas were clean. Breakfast was pretty good.

Room needed some maintenance. The airconditioner would make a horrible squeeling noise every time it shut off. The toilet had a slow leak, and every 10 minutes or so the valve would open to refill the tank, making lots of noise every time.

The staff was great and the room was very nice!

The heater was on when we arrived, which is odd during 80° degree weather. The other issues we encountered were due to the other guests. There must have been a high school competition because the hotel was full of rude teenagers screaming and slamming doors the first night. The morning before checkout, there was an elderly man banging on the door next to our room for almost an hour straight.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable and the staff were friendly.

The airconditioner would freeze over and quit cooling the room if you try to turn the temperature too low, and the room could have used some maintenance and a little bit more thorough cleaning, as there were spiderwebs in some of the corners.

The variety for breakfast was outstanding. I only wish I had room to eat all of it. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The room was spotless. I especially liked the shower. At some hotels the shower heads are not functioning properly. Not a problem at your hotel.

We had a nice stay we stayed for 6 night, loved having a nice breakfast. Room was nice and clean.

You can constantly hear the other doors from the cleaning room or other rooms?? Constantly closing early in the morning, we were right next to that area that was super annoying hearing that early everyday.
