La Quinta by Wyndham Denison - North Lake Texoma

We needed a place for a few hours to rest before continuing on our long road trip. The place was perfect. The check-in was very quick and easy. We were very pleased with the check-in because the last few hotels took forever. When you have been on the road and tired the check-in process is a plus when it goes smoothly! The gentleman working the desk was awesome! The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There is an I hop within walking distance to the hotel.

Well furnished room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Never ending big breakfast sausage and scrambled eggs. Nice selection juices. Hotel exterior and interior all new.

Air conditioner was noisy. The shower leaked out all over the bathroom floor. The hotel was 3 stories, one elevator. Parking lot was small, at least around the one entry door. The elevator was slow and when the door was closing scraped and made scratching sounds.

The staff were friendly at check in and the lobby was clean and pleasant looking. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. And, the breakfast was tasty with lots of choices!

The bathroom sink faucet was hard to pull on and was a bit grungy. The light above the shower didn’t work. The bag for the hairdryer seemed dirty with stains. Also, the headboard seemed to have an oily spot from a head that leaned against it above the pillows.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed; loved that plenty of pillows were provided. Breakfast offered plenty of options, was hot or cold as appropriate, and tasty.

The AC unit was noisy. Would to have liked to be able to close the heavier drapes to darken the room; too much light came through the sheers. The ice machine was on the second floor and at the opposite end of the hotel; most are on the ground floor near a common area or enroute to the pool. I wished I had asked if any dogs were staying in rooms nearby!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly

TV could use an upgrade. TV was very small and we had a hard time figuring out how to turn it on and off. We would have liked to at least been able to sign into Netflix or something but that wasn’t a big deal just something I guess we haven’t ran across in a long time

The front desk workers were very helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were happy to learn the fitness center was open (some other hotels have closed theirs because of Covid).

We were bummed to find out this hotel didn't have any "hot breakfast" options (eggs, sausage, etc.) aside from a waffle maker. They did have a good selection of pastries, a few cereals, and three juice options, which was nice. The employee did a great job of keeping everything stocked as well. We just missed having some eggs or biscuits.

This was our first stay at a LaQuinta Inn. I was happy with the cleanliness and was well stocked with towels, soap, and toiletries. We stayed June 2021, no breakfast was served, due to Covid but they gave us a to go bag with pastries,a fruit cup, juice and water. It was a nice effort, but as a diabetic that was too high in carbs - wish they had cereal or oatmeal instead. Would stay again, seems to be one of the better chains. Price was fair.

The bed was on the hard side, but I slept pretty well. We arrived abt 10:30 pm and had hoped to get a late swim in but pool closed at 10 pm. Maybe they could think abt leaving it open from 10 - 11 just for adults.

Great enthusiastic reception at check in and worked it out so our two rooms were on the same floor. Although we left early, coffee was already brewed and ready by 6am (breakfast at 7 since it was a Saturday.

The property was fine. But because of Texas outer road it seemed Google took us the long way around to the hotel.

Breakfast was great, very nice selection. Clean selection area and dining area. Arranged nicely. Wish they had a fresh fruit section. We also enjoyed the pool. Nice stocked area, clean with beautiful vegetation growing around for a very peaceful setting.

The ice machine on the first floor was out of order.

Location & the hotel. The beds were very comfortable.

The lack of blackout curtains. The curtains are too see through & about 5:30 am sunlight came pouring in the room. It has fake side curtains of the material the real curtains should be made of.
