Inn at the Waterpark

Located within walking distance of Moody Gardens Aquarium and Rainforest pyramids & Water park. Also located near Moody Gardens was the Trolley pickup that takes you to the seawall. Rooms were large and clean. Comfortable beds. Price was very reasonable. They also had mini golf on the property. They had a continental breakfast.

I would have liked to have seen a larger choice of protein for continental breakfast....ex...hard boiled egg or peanut butter would have been nice. Make your own Waffles would also have been a nice addition.

It's a lot nicer in person than the pictures give it credit. We absolutely loved the mini golf on the premises, our family played a few nights! The pool was nice too and it's not far from the beach. I prefer that it was in a more quiet area so that was nice. Our AC went out in our room on the second day and they were very nice and moved us into a nicer room right away! They had a lot of breakfast options which was a plus too!

None of the vending machines and ice machines were stocked in our building. That was probably our only complaint about our stay and that's not really a big deal.

Location

The beds are very hard and bugs got in some of our food and they need to keep the pool clean and i think the refrigerators on the floor are not right first some open to left some to the right i was pregnant and had a hard time with it then the food i know COVID isn't over but bring back pancakes or waffles something more then a bunch of sugar stuff

The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, staff were offering me fresh items daily which was very nice.

I didn't like that I was so far away from the original hotel. I also thought I would have gotten a handicap room on floor level as that is what booking.com told me it would be. The golf clubs were very old and worn out and could use a little updating as well. The coffee was good but so hot and the cups burned my hands as I was trying to carry the cups back to my room. Aside from these minor things, I was overall happy withe hotel.

Everything overall was nice. Really friendly staff. Pool was clean and with the mini golf it kept the kids entertained. Room was spacious and quiet too. Even with kids outside, you could not hear them. Beds were fairly comfortable. We will consider staying here again when we visit Galveston again.

The water pressure in the shower was not very strong. Had great pressure from the tub spout but when switching to the shower we lost a considerable amount of pressure. We stayed in room 103 so if anyone wants to address this for the next guest it would be in their benefit.

The coffee was good. The rooms were nice and roomy, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, putt putt golf and the location. Plus, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great to have covered parking, too

Breakfast could be improved by adding fresh fruit and nice muffins.

The hotel has a real nice size pool a really nice miniature golf course right by a nice water park. We love the fact that you can park your car while you cruise. That is always a big plus for us. The staff has always been real friendly. We have only stayed here twice but when we come back, we will stay again our children. Love it here. 

The only thing I can think of offhand is the clubhouse is closed 

Our room was spacious and very clean. Housekeeping came every day and did a great job. Smelled good, beds comfortable and the pool was also clean and we enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

I was on the 2nd floor (3rd from the back) and there are no elevators. The stairs are wonky. One light switch as you entered needed attention.

It is an excellent place to stay with your family. You and your children will love their recreation areas. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. And all the staff that work in the hotel are very attentive and cordial with their guests. It has breakfast included. It really is a very good place to stay for leisure or work. Wi-Fi is excellent too.

Very easy check in at the front desk-informative and receptive. Facilities were clean and staff was friendly. We stayed during the peakest of peak season and it ended up being a good thing that it was off of the Seawall. Easy in and out of our hotel location. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious so that our family of four never felt cramped. Very clean and fresh upon arrival and housekeeping helped us when we needed to request extra towels at the last minute.
