The Steamboat Inn0

The owner Lana has made our stay the most amazing experience ever. The breakfast was fantastic and varied over the course of our stay to our surprise. Each morning we were welcomed with a lovely made dish, something sweet, something salty, something fruity. Besides that, we go some recommendations for the local area and really felt like being at a friends house, feeling like home. We will definitly come back next year and extend our stay in the Steamboat Inn. Thanks Lana, for your warmth welcome and support 😊

The property kept in excellent condition. Everything was above expectations. Elegant, comfortable yet historical- just the way we like it. Breakfast was very tasty, well served and presented with a personal touch. The owner was very friendly and informative. We felt as very special guests. We will highly recommend this place to all.

Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect.

The property was gorgeous,inside and out! Our room was lovely! All the charm of an older era with all the modern conveniences such as A/C, a small refrigerator in the room, a ceiling fan and portable fan, flat screen TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi, blow dryer and shower (included with tub).  The  proprietor, offered complementary fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, hot coffee, and a bottle of wine in the foyer, to help ourselves whenever we wanted. 

I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like! 

The Steamboat Inn was a delightful respite at the end of a long day of driving. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. David greeted us upon our arrival and provided great information about the Inn, our room, plans for breakfast, and places to eat within walking distance. His recommendations were most appreciated. Later in the evening, we had a very enjoyable visit with the owner. A delicious breakfast was an added bonus. Many thanks for making our stay so special.

Can't think of a thing that I would change. It was a wonderful, but too brief stay.

Not our first stay at the Steamboat Inn. As previously, we were personally greeted and welcomed to the property by the owners Lana and Alex. Great people who are ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible and update you on current things to do in the area. The Inn was clean and accommodating. The breakfasts were outstanding and enjoyed conversation with Dave with some wine around the firepit on our last evening.

There is nothing we did not enjoy about our stay. Everything was great.

The house was absolutely gorgeous! We were welcomed by the owner & the house manager immediately on arrival. Were shown to our room, and asked if we needed anything. We were not the only people staying there, but we never heard any noises from the other guest, very quiet the entire weekend. The breakfast each morning was delicious & prepared by the very lovely owner each morning. It was beautifully prepared and presented to use at our table.

Really there was nothing we didnt like. The entire weekend stay was fantastic!

The breakfast was amazing. It was served in a dining room with beautiful stained glass and was different each day but always something unique and delicious. The decor was beautiful and I liked the cookies and drinks available in the central hall. The location was perfect to walk to downtown or the old part of town, or nearby pubs. The outdoor fire ring was very nice.. Beautiful yard, porch swing, parking in front along the road. Lots of people gathered in the central area to visit. We were busy with other things, but it seemed nice if you enjoy that. The house was built from salvage from an old home, so it was built to order as a B & B, but with old materials and details included. The owners and host were friendly and gave us lots of advice and told stories about the area. Not much is open late, but they sent us to eat at the Irish pub. It was good, but pricy.

The bed was a little mushy, but I slept okay and I have a bad back. We were there during a very cold spell in March, and the heat in the house must have been turned way down. We had lots of covers, thank goodness. There is only one entree for breakfast. My daughter doesn't like most breakfast food, and there was no option for her to request anything different. Some extras like toast or fruit would have been nice for her.

Was in a hurry to leave didn't have breakfast but wanted to stay it sure smelled delicious! got there late but the host was there waiting on us and greeted us with open arms, very friendly and polite. This is a absolutely great stay and would encourage anybody in this area looking for a great overnight or weekend stay to stay here!

nothing, this was the most enjoyable stay at a b&b I have had in a long time! peaceful, relaxing and great location!

The room was so cozy, and the bed so comfortable. We, and the other guests, were marveling at breakfast about how unusually well we all slept. Lana, Alex, and David were the best part. They made us feel like we were staying over with friends. Lana’s breakfasts were so delicious, and she was even able to cater to our gluten free diet. We stayed for 4 nights and had a different breakfast every morning. All amazing.

This was a wonderful stay in Jefferson. The B&B was spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable! The breakfasts were delicious, and there were yummy extras like warm blueberry scones, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and wine in the evenings. There are only four suites in the inn, which makes for good conversation and quiet sleep hours. We loved the fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar that was available 24/7. Our room came with a white noise generator (we use one at home, so this was perfect for us)! The mattress was SO.comfortable and the room was an excellent size.There was a traditional Victorian bathtub with the wrap around curtain and a brass shower fixture (so fun) in the private bathroom The Inn is close to dining and museums - literally a short walk. SUPER location! We loved the owners - they are awesome people doing this right.
