Boardwalk Inn

Location is excellent and easy to get around. Hotel has a parking lot. Room is spacier and clean. Love the balcony. It is next to the canal so you can see the water. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff exceeds expectation and even remember our room number.

We were there during spring break and the midway is next to the hotel. Band was playing music until 11 p.m. Visitors were visiting the midway until late at night. Could not sleep the first night. Hotel staff was nice and offered a full refund if we wished to leave. But it was 5 p.m. and the kid was tried so we stayed. Second night was better, but we still had to wait until 10 p.m. when things quieted down.

My sister and I lived the view and we especially appreciated how considerate the Kemah Boardwalk is. Our room is located right in front of the plaza where a band plays & we were a bit worried they would keep playing into the night, but they didn't. They had a hard stop at 10pm. We were so pleased at how peaceful & quiet it was and that we were able to get restful sleep. The location is excellent! I was able to get some Starbucks for breakfast super close by. Loved staying here. Will definitely come back with my husband.

Don't really have anything negative to say here.

We liked the use of the pool. We liked the flexibility of the staff and the grille. We liked sitting on the balcony.

We didn’t like the table having crusty feel to it. We had to clean it. There was a tear in the ottoman cushion. The bed skirt wasn’t straight and there was a small stain on the upper top sheet. Then after the fire alarm went off due to the storm, the toilet handle broke. We were unable to flush the toilet. My husband had to manually flush the toilet by opening the tank.

I loved how close we were to the boardwalk. The pool and hot tub were excellent! Parking was so nice in the garage and so close to the front desk. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Ok so I know that smoking isn’t popular now a days, and I understand no smoking in the room it’s self. I don’t even smoke in my own house, but to spend $250 dollars for a room with a balcony, and I couldn’t even step out there to smoke?🤷‍♂️. They don’t allow coolers because they say that the room comes with a mini fridge. Well mini is the key word! It was VERY small, and all rooms aren’t furnished with a microwave!! Hell I’ve stayed at some very cheap hotels, and I’ve NEVER Sean a room with a fridge and NO microwave!! And the cable??, you better have other things to do because the cable selection is extremely poor!

I spoke with a hotel rep Mark at the front desk a few days before my stay. Super nice guy and gave me all the info I needed to change my room out for a different view. I called the day before to make sure the changes were made and the hotel manager, Wendy said sorry Mark is no longer working for us and he gave me wrong information. She was very rude and condescending. Would not honor what Mark her employee promised and it's very disappointing. This is not my first stay at this hotel and it's expensive. Quite upset about this treatment for sure.Said Booking.com never emailed them and they did. So if you call and are told a price or accommodation, you may not get it and they don't seem to care at all about what's promised by their employee's. I sent an email trough the website explaining everything and asked for Wendy's supervisors name and contact info and only got an automated receipt saying they received my email. I was never contacted at all. No call or email. Super disappointed. Ann kidney

The location is close to everything we enjoy.

We've stayed there 3 times so far and was disappointed this time that there's no longer servicing for the rooms. We had to return to the front desk and ask for/pickup additional towels and coffees each day. So was $180/day a Good Value?... not so much. 😕 . . . . We were surprised there was no microwave for heating a cup of coffee, danish, etc... Btw, the bathroom could use another hook for robes while showering. There was only one, which was used for the bath towel. Facilities... 😑

The views from the balcony were awesome. We watched the boats coming and going all day. Great view of the fireworks also. We were close to all the shops and restaurants. We also had a front row seat to the bands onstage.

Everything was great! The only thing was we couldn’t hardly get any channels on the tv. But we weren’t in the room very much. So it was not that big of a deal. Just at night when laying down we couldn’t watch tv.

Hotel location is real good, is a beautiful place just beside the sea. You have a lot options near to having good time. We enjoy the Tejano Music Fest from our balcony.

Pool was closed, it was under maintenance and I would love to have chance for swimming at the hotel. Bad thing we just got have a 2hrs notification in advanced via text but nothing to compensate facility lack of swimming pool :-)

Loved the location and eateries. My husband and I enjoyed our time and got some much needed rest and relaxation

The fact that the live band goes until 10:30 or 11pm at night. I think the hotel should invest in balcony doors. Our door would not close without a struggle to lock it. Also, the amount of light that comes underneath the door due to the huge gap! Also, the lighting in the bathroom was horrible. Need more lighting!

Very spacious rooms. Convenient and nice bed. Easy and free parking. In general, the interior is nice and elegant in its homey designs

The hotel ambitions are to be an exclusive and special resort, but cannot really live up to the high price of the room. Some cracked tile, some worn out paint, spots on the carpets, missing kitting in corners etc => Time for a refresh renovation? No breakfast was included in the price.
