Motel 6-Plano, TX - Plano Northeast

i love the fact that this place really watches their clients. There isn't much traffic that isn't of the hotel clients. The rooms are always super clean and the cleaning people do a great job of doing their jobs but not trying to wake the hotel guests up if they do over sleep! You get more out of this motel then most.

needs a little bit bigger area for dogs.

Terrible parking,so many handicapped had to park opposite side of where my room was. Towels and washcloths,face clothes very cheap and poor quality,bathtub had stains,sink need to be cleaned out and missing the plug to prevent anything from going down it accidentally, Idiots are still unable to provide customer service- used a window to conduct business!! Only in Texas are people still STUPID to believe in a FAKE PANDEMIC!!

The room was clean and the staff was nice.

It's good, especially for a motel, to be right on the highway however you can hear that highway all night. They were undergoing some renovations on the outside of the building while I was there and because of that it could be kinda loud during the day.

I like how it's pet friendly w/ no extra charge. Also love that Zenna's is right next door.

The swimming pool looks clean but the gate it's looks chained shut.. it's soooo hot why isn't it open to the public yet?!?!

Great room for a great price!! Clean, cold AC, family friendly. I still can’t believe they have a night security guard (policeman by day) for the low price we pay for the room! This is not an untrained, inexperienced security guard, he is actually a policeman that comes in at night, he rounds the grounds on foot every 15/20 minutes. My family slept comfortably all four nights just knowing Officer Moore was outside watching our vehicles as well as keeping traffic at a minimum. If your not a paying customer, they will not tolerate you driving through or hanging around outside, esp during the night. They do not allow alcohol outside of the rooms, the owner is very strict about this rule. Obviously people may consume alcohol beverages but you never see an alcohol beverage being consumed outside of the rooms. My family had to arrive in Plano extra early on a Friday morning due to an emergency and they actually allowed us to check in at 5am at no additional charge!!! This is unheard of, as much as I have traveled, I may get lucky enough to check in around noon but NEVER at 5am when their actually check in time is 3pm!!! My family and I really appreciated this! We visit family in the Plano area several times a year, although we have tried out other motels when we first started coming to the Plano area, once we found this Motel 6, we have only stayed here and will always stay here when in the area. There are plenty of restaurants, fast food, retail, thrift shops, city parks in close proximity of this Motel 6.

The highway is noisy if your sitting outside of the room but there is really nothing that can be done about that and it’s not really a complaint, I just couldn’t find anything wrong with the room or property so this is the best “dislike” I could come up with. This would NOT deter my family from staying at this Motel 6, once in the room the noisy traffic from the highway is minimal.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels.

This was just a small thing to improve was the toilet paper. The roll was halfway through when we arrived and there was no extra roll. Luckily we made do but it would have been nice to have another roll.

The A/C was bumping nice,and the price was cool too.

The only thing I didn't like was the bars of soap they are very poor quality. maybe put better soap and some hair product for showering.

There is not any breakfast and I personally think Motel 6 should have a continental breakfast for the guests. However our stay was perfect.

The washer and dryers are very pricey, but they work really well. The price of the sodas are ridiculous.

Excellent staff

The location was great ,change linens everyday.
