Hilton Garden Inn Denison/Sherman/At Texoma Event Center

Everything was Fantastic. Hilton is Number 1. I paid more, but I got more.

Simple error. I had 4 in my room and only got 1 meal ticket. I needed 2 meal tickets. It was corrected, but I had to go to the desk and he had to look me up to check if what I told him was true. It was made up for. I was given the meal ticket fot the day before also. It helped out because I was wirh my family and they paid a balance for me the day before that I was not aware of. As I said: No biggie.

The staff was amazing, the room was nice.

Housekeeping never came to clean our room or bring towels or toilet paper, or coffee. You have to pay for breakfast which is a little ridiculous for the price. The bathtub had what seemed to be the remnants of the nonslip stickers, if the hot water in the tub was turned on it was very slow, it was the opposite with the cold water.

We liked that they had cook to order breakfast. It was hot and liked the variety. Facility was clean and the amenities were good. The beds were comfortable and room was large. I had a procedure scheduled at Texoma Medical Center and it was very convenient to this facility. We will definitely come back.

It would be nice to have USB ports as everything these days are charged that way. We were in an assessable room but the bathtub was slippery when wet. We cannot think of anything else that we did not like.

The location was great, right off the freeway. The hotel was fairly new and pretty clean. Loved the ability to check-in and out and unlock doors with phone app! I appreciated the antibacterial dispensers and cleaning wipes available.

The beds were not super comfortable, but were tolerable. We stayed for 5 nights. We did not see the sign stating housekeeping available upon request since Covid initially. Then, I asked the morning staff person behind the counter twice for things from housekeeping and did not receive the items or the service either time. My husband asked the third time and we finally got our room cleaned the day before we checked out. The app to unlock the doors was great, but it would be nice to be able to have it work on at least 2 phones at once so my husband could use it as well.

Excellent breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. VERY helpful waitresses and chef. Meals prepared to perfection. Made the stay SO much more pleasant. Didn't have to leave the property to get a first-class meal with excellent service.

Bed could have been more comfortable. Seemed a little hard, we slept okay, not great though. Also, would have loved to have had double sinks in bathroom. Shower didn't have a lot of pressure.

Breakfast & location were good. Friendly bartender. Quiet rooms, didn't hear any neighbors.

Would have liked a Tesla or other car charger in the parking lot. Had to drive up to the nearby supercharger most mornings.

unlike most Hotels the room actually got cold that I didn't have to turn the unit to full blast just to get comfortable on top of the sheets. I like to sleep in the cold around 60 degree Fahrenheit. Sheets were not itchy and the matress wasn't too uncomfortable.

the breakfast I paid for was like eating retirement home food, very bland and I know not much seasoning can be used so as to accommodate others health issues but even with salt it lacked substance. Pancakes were unbelievable tough my toddler could only gnaw on it before he got bored.

The hotel in located in a great area, was very clean and the staff was great!

The only problem we had, if you could even call it that, was the pillows on the bed were a little sub-par, but other than that everything was great.

We did not have breakfast. The location was convenient to the casino and the check in was very fast.

Replace the pillows. They were flat as a board and offered no support at all.

Handicapped room was perfect for my mom’s care. loved the fitness room. loved the water with oranges at the entrance.

Slight odor at the entrance. some rust stains in the bathtub. A raised toilet seat would be very accommodating for a handicapped room.
