Best Western Sugar Land - Richmond

The location was great and central to where we needed to be. The room temperature was easily controlled and got as cool as I usually l like it to be, and the bed was pretty comfortable for a "budget" hotel. The hotel was clean for the most part, but the breakfast was outstanding. There were plenty of options, it was hot and fresh, and there were even to-go options. I was very impressed with this free breakfast, and that coupled with the excellent customer service would be my reasons for staying here again in the future.

he room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. The towels didn't smell very fresh and were really dingy and gray no matter how many "clean" ones we asked for. The hallway had a pretty strong smell, but it wasn't a usual cleaner smell. Not sure what it was, but it was there the entire stay. My two adult children stayed in this room, and they both complained about the smell of the sheets and the room. I visited their room a few times, and can confirm it did have a smell to it, but it was almost connected to the smell in the hallway.

very nice and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. also the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved it so much and can’t forget the delicious breakfast . Highly recommended.

Everything!! Joaquin at reception was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The older couple who maintained the breakfast area were extremely pleasant and helpful. I couldn’t believe all the breakfast items, as well as the presentation and cleanliness. I’ve never seen such a nice breakfast in a comparable hotel!!! I love attention to detail and it was evident throughout the hotel. The beds, Keurig coffee maker, sparkling clean corridors, superb maintenance, and clean lobby area. Also, the car park and landscaping were very nice and clean.

How could I find anything I didn’t like? It was simply lovely!!!

Very nice area, there are a lot of stores nearby. Good breakfast, cereal, fried eggs, sausages, toasts, different kind of bread, granola bars, yogurt, biscuits, toppings, mini hotdogs, different kind of juice, tea, coffee, fruits.

I liked the location and the staff.

The bed. It could have been a little softer and more comfortable. The heater was also not working well. The breakfast was good but I didn't like the fact that the omelet had sausage in it and it was not even labeled. I don't eat pork. But as it wasn't labeled I accidentally ate the omelet with sausage. That's a horrible experience.

It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I have stayed at many hotels in Houston and sugar land area and have I never seen a very clean and comfortable place. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

There is nothing bad to say about this property. Was very exceptional.

Great hotel great staff. Has what you need and will accommodate you. Anyone traveling to Houston should stop here if they need to rest.

The breakfast guy made me a little uncomfortable. He was just watching everyone very closely. Just doing his job but it was a bit much.

Location was in a low traffic area, it was quiet, clean and staff was courteous. Loved the place. Will definitely return.

Didn't have the large towels for pool, we still got some smalls towels but my daughter was dripping as she made her way through the hall to the room. I just didn't want anyone to slip and fall.

Breakfast was hot and great. Minus that there was no pancakes or waffles. But this didn't break the deal for me. They have a wide selection of food and it was good. Room was clean, cold and bed was comfortable. Minus the pillows are flat. Front desk was always smiling and very accommodating. I forgot a few essential elements for hygiene and it was readily available at the front desk. No, issues getting an extra blanket. I keep the room to cold for my husband.

There are no waffles or pancakes for breakfast. Pillows are flat.
