After a few stays here, we have been pleased with all areas of customer service, even with some remodeling going on. But after my August 5 stay, the staff, Mikaela and Scott particularly, went above and beyond to help me. More importantly, housekeeping proved its integrity by turning in my laptop, my lifeline to business. Mikaela confirmed that it had been turned into housekeeping office when I called on August 7. She, then Kari and Scott, organized the shipping of my computer to me. I'm grateful and will make Crystal Inn my regular stop on my often trips from CO to Reno. Thank you to Crystal Inn staff!!

The breakfast was a welcome start to our day! We enjoyed the nice clean swimming pool and liked that you could swim late into the night. The room was clean and comfy and we felt safe and secure. The shower was probably one of the best hotel showers, thank you for investing in a quality shower head, honestly most hotels ignore that. The front desk staff was super nice 🙂

The neighborhood was a little sketchy with some drug users, so we didn't walk around but that's not the hotel's fault. The overall location was great, so close to good restaurants. We opened our second floor room window once to listen to the evening thunderstorm and were surprised there was no screen! Glad I didn't lean out too far LOL!

Breakfast was really good, with lots of options and all of them constantly being refilled by the friendly staff. I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, it was nice and private because no one was there when we went. It’s also one of the only hotels in the area we could find with an open ‘til midnight pool area. The pool temperature is great. The room was super clean and spacious. Also the snack bar at the front desk has everything you could possibly ask for, from options of ice cream sandwiches to Pepto-bismol, and various chips and soft drinks.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. If there was anything to complain about it would be the ongoing construction, but I can hardly complain. Just a small area in the hotel where the walls are taken out and they don’t have carpet installed yet.

Breakfast was awesome! Room was clean. Employees were very confused and not very helpful.

The only disappointment was I booked the room through booking. Booking charged my card 2 days prior to my stay. I showed up at the property and they said I hadn't paid yet. And insisted I paid again. Without me knowing they did charge my card the full $150 again, when I thought it was just the cleaning deposit. I literally spent 30 minutes checking in while I explained and had to show the actual transaction on my credit card the employee. It was very frustrating to get it all done and the refund. Definitely won't be doing that again. I will pay the extra to be able to pay at the property.

Timely shuttle service from airport. Arrived at hotel at 10am. Invited by front desk to enjoy the hot breakfast buffet which stayed open an extra 20 minutes to accommodate late sleepers due to daylight savings time. Allowed to check in early. Walked to a local microbrewery- Red Rock. Food was fabulous. They also sell bottled beer on site. We took shuttle back to the airport the following morning. Arrange for your ride back to airport when you check in. They also provide shuttle to tourist sites in the city.

Would have loved brewed coffee at breakfast rather than the reconstituted instant that was served

Pretty much everything was good and the stay was comforting. Friendly staff at check in and check out. Overall, pretty good.

There was bit of a down side. When we showed up, we parked next to an SUV that had two men and a women who appeared to be a sex worker inside the vehicle, based on how she was dressed. When we (my son and I) came back out to go to our rooms, they did try to get our attention. We ignored them and went on our way. Not a good look or first impression. May need to have security doing some rounds to keep this kind of activity off of the property. All else was excellent so that it is why the higher remarks.

Breakfast was great! Room was better than expected! And we were in walking distance to a number of places. Plenty of restaurants within minutes. What was most incredible was the fact that we arrived earlier into Salt Lake City than expected. We stopped into the hotel just to see if it was possible to checkin earlier. We were told that it was possible, but the room we had assigned wasn't ready yet. They told us that we would be UPGRADED at NO EXTRA COST! When does that ever happen!

The staff were outstanding - super friendly and informative. They gave me a late check out, no problem at no extra cost. Heated pool and jacuzzi were a plus. Complimentary Breakfast was surprisingly decent. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Complimentary shuttle to/from airport!

Carpet and decorations a little drab or dated. I didn’t know there was a complimentary shuttle so I paid to get from SLC shuttle to the hotel - is there a way to promote this more clearly when guest booking thru’ a third party such as booking.com?

Rooms are large, clean, with frigo, microwave, coffee machine, so, very convenient.

The zircon was super noisy. My colleague stayed in a different room and the aircon was equally noisy. I'd recommend the hotel maintenance to check this out. Another point that for me was really disappointing was that all, but all utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc, were disposable, and butter, jam, salt, cream cheese, all packed in plastic, individually. This was quite a shock to me to think that a hotel that size, so many rooms, was producing that amount of rubbish - single use utensils and so on don't make any sense in these days.

Customer service was top tier! Friendly and accommodating staff. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Free shuttle service was super. Walking distance to the convention center. Older hotel but well kept and clean. Spacious room with 2 sinks. I was nervous after reading some reviews about homeless and drug addicts in the area, but we didn't feel unsafe at all. Only saw a few of them as we walked to/from the convention center and they kept to themselves. I would stay here again.

The towels smelled very clean, but the bedding had a couple of hairs on them (could have come from the washing machine?). Sheets were also pilling so they felt kind of rough. Wifi in our room basically didn't work.
