Embassy Suites by Hilton Salt Lake West Valley City

excellent variety for breakfast including made to order omelets, potatoes, scrambled eggs, meat, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, etc. great for my wife as well since she's gluten free. The room was very spacious with a separate bedroom with its own tv. nicely appointed rooms. Hot tub felt nice after skiing. Chantelle was fantastic on the phone before we came and after arrival as a concierge for our ski activities.

there were a couple small aesthetics in the room that needed attention, repaired. likely just overlooked. Not a problem

EXCELLENT buffet breakfast. Made to order omelettes, sausage AND bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, yogurt, all types of juice. It is recommended you get there before 8 to avoid a ton of kids. Our suite was quite large and very comfortable. We needed a few more towels, advised the front desk and VERY soon after we had a soft knock at the door from a staff member with ample towels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean. Great view of the valley and the mountains from our bedroom. The shower is a bit dark. It would be nice to have a light inside the shower but we managed. Ample free parking. Gas stations, pharmacies, highway, airport all are nearby as is SLC and all it has to offer. The Great Salt Lake (Antelope Island) is just under an hour away. West Valley City doesn't have an abundance of sit down restaurants. Lots of fast food joints, Chinese, Thai. No good Italian or seafood places that we could find. SLC has more variety and you can be anywhere in the city in no time at all from this Embassy Suites hotel. In the future... and we definitely plan to do more trips to beautiful Utah... we will stay here when in the SLC area.

We found the air conditioning/heating difficult to understand and control. You were supposed to be able to put your room key in the slot entering the suite to control the A/C but it never seemed like we had the complete ability to keep the air conditioning off when we didn't need it. Next time we will ask someone to come up and show us how to do it.

We got an excellent room, with large living room, really good bedroom and an amazing bathroom. The bed and couch were super comfortable, the space was properly cleaned and the shower was one of the best I've seen in a hotel. The restaurant on the lobby was absolutely fantastic and we really enjoyed the breakfast with made to order omelets. Staff was really polite and helpful.

There is pretty much no complaint here. The main negative is that wifi is not really free: they make you subscribe to their rewards program to use internet. Come on guys, it is 2022. If you're going to downtown SLC, this may be a bit out, but there is a really good selection of restaurants nearby, so you should be set staying there.

The location was great. Close to family. The room was clean. I appreciated the fact that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

It would have been prefect if there was a door between the bedroom and the living area so you couldn't hear the TV in either room. Also, the bathroom barn style doors didn't line up well with the wall. There was still a small gap after the door is closed.

The rooms were spacious and clean! It reminded me and my wife of a very nice 1 bedroom apartment. There was a living room with a bar and mini fridge, a sectional couch, and a large TV. The bathroom was very nice and connected to the bedroom, which had a king-size bed and 65-inch tv

The bed wasn't the most comfortable. It was pretty solid. I woke up with my lower back hurting a few times.

Nice rooms

I don't like the fact that after I had told the receptionist we didn't have a dog she still charged for it. Shortly corrected it but we had to wait for over a week to make sure that the charge was taken off. It would be nice if they would pay more attention to details that way. People don't like being charge more. Also the booking rate was not the same on bookings.com as the hotel they charged more then booking was. Also don't like the bathroom doors they need to be more secure. I felt like anyone could walk in on me at anytime.

Staff was friendly. Pool was clean, hot tub jets were out of order. Decent size suite. Loved having a hot breakfast with options. Room was clean.

The sofa bed was beyond not usable. There was no support at all in the center. Looked like the rod had been bent in opposite direction. And looked like a wave. High, then low then high again. You sat on it and it started collapsing in on you. Notified hotel of how many people were going to be room. But it was only stocked for 2, we had 5. So that was a little annoying. Having to call to office for lots of supplies.

Very nice facility. Bed was like a giant pillow, and pillows were like little clouds 🤣. Very very nice. Breakfast was awesome, and huge selection. Can order your own made omelets also. Staff was very helpful, and accommodating. 5 star hotel

Ordered smoking room online with booking, and listing said smoking room . They don't have any smoking rooms. This was more on booking.com than hotel I feel though. Staff helped, and I just got out of hospital so no biggie anyway. Loved my stay

I loved the energy there how everyone was so happy to help and when I called for someone to help me with my tv some one was at my door minutes later to help did not make me wait long like most other places do. Thanks oh and the set up in the rooms the barn doors so beautiful.

Only thing I wish was different would been a walk in shower I felt I had no room in the tub to move around it felt small to me. Maby changes make that feel bigger
