Nice property. Greatly convenient and close to everything. Hot tub was great and the rooms with kitchen were awesome.

Pool was cold whole trip. $300 a night you want a warm pool. Asked numerous times and was told pool good. It was cold and pool room freezing. Room nice with all windows to look out and open space but room couldnt keep up warm the floor and or the pool. That needs addressing. Very disappointing. Went and paid to swim at Okemo Spring House. That was warm!

King room was spacious and comfortable with places to sit without having to be always on the bed. Nice window covers for privacy and blocking early morning light.

Was disappointed that breakfast was only available on weekends as it appeared to be a very nice dining area and its always nice to have breakfast included. After some tiring skiing was thinking about staying an extra day and driving home in daylight instead of night, but surprisingly no vacancy for that Tuesday night without shifting rooms so decided if moving bags might as well put in car and go home.

The indoor pool and hot tub. we’re clean and well kept up. the room was clean and comfy. There was a mini fridge on the floor that worked fine but was very low to use. I expected the hotel hallways to smell musty since the winter guests entered the carpeted halls with wet boots and skis .. but the hallways smelled fresh. Location was down for summer touring up and down Hwy 100 in search of waterfalls and covered bridges. The hotel restaurant was closed. no breakfast was included so we went into Ludlow and had to wait our turn for a table. Made for a late start.

No food available on site. We shopped for breakfast items at Singleton’s General Store in Proctorsville, .5 miles away. … to avoid long waits in Ludlow for breakfast. Bed skirt was way too long. To avoid tripping on it I had to tuck it between the mattress and box spring.

The property was Extremely clean!!! The king suite was by far the best room I have stayed in- in the area! The staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean very spacious, full of great amenities, huge tv for living room and bedroom , bathroom very nice and updated and a comfortable bed. The resort was so quiet and peaceful!! The location was great not within walking distance to most restaurants but literally less then 10m drive to the downtown area where you can park and walk to a huge variety of restaurants to pick from. The front desk staff all excellent! I would highly recommend this resort/hotel to everyone!

super minor dislike was the pillows very small but we had plenty of extra pillow pillows to compensate! and the TV was on a odd timer otherwise no complaints!!

Overall everything was great. Front desk staff was very welcoming, helpful and fun. We enjoyed the pool and our room was very clean and comfortable. I certainly would have no issues staying here again and would recommend it to others.

My only negative is the price. I understand it was a weekend in the summer and we were scrambling last minute to find a place to stay so we have to go with what was available. Typically I would not stay somewhere over $300 per night. If I had had an option, I would not have chosen Pointe at Castle Hill just for that reason. It was great though. Just a little too expensive for me.

At the tail end of a two+ week vacation, we were unsure if we wanted to simply head home or stay in Vermont another night. We've stayed here many times through the years...Unfortunately Castle Hill didn't have any available rooms, but the Pointe did so we decided to stay. This is the Value" property" at the Castel Hill resort but don't confuse that with it being a cheap property. It's not. The rooms are comfortable, the indoor pool and refreshing and the staff is every bit as accommodating as they are up at the Castle. We ate dinner in the Castle Hill dining room and it was as good as it's ever been. The next night we ate a DJ's restaurant...unknown to us before, the food was very good and the portions were HUGE.

unfortunately they are not allowing Pointe guests to use the outdoor pool up at the Castle.

The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Several different types of restaurants close by. Loved that there was a refrigerator in the room!

The coffee maker in the room made coffee that tasted musty as if it doesn't get dry completely before the lid gets closed. I really wish they had a free fresh coffee bar all day in the lobby. That really helps after driving 5-6 hours for work and needing coffee and a rest. Wish there was a microwave along with the refrigerator. That didn't bother us as we stayed only the one night, but it would really be important for a longer stay to heat up leftovers from the seemingly excellent restaurants around.

The location is beautiful and conveniently located. Our suite was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Climate control was excellent. Laundry in the suite and a charming gas fireplace were unexpected features that made a big difference in our stay! The television in the living room has a second HDMI port that can be hooked up to a gaming console such as a Nintendo Switch which was an added bonus! The staff members were exceedingly kind and helpful. We will certainly book with The Pointe again in the future!

The remote controls for the televisions are most effective when connected through a phone app which was challenging to navigate.

We were fortunate to get an upgrade to our double room to a suite which was very nice - the hotel is friendly and the suites are very well appointed with every convenience. The only problem we encountered was with their wifi access (non-existent in our room. They apologised for this and informed us that a fault was awaiting repair - there is however, free internet access on a computer located in the reception area.

Would have liked breakfast in the hotel but other locations nearby.

Staff were super nice.. Room was huge! The entire place had a very country lodge feeling. Little table, big leather chair, couch and a king bed. It was very clean. No bad smell. Saw pool and hot tub but didn't have time to use it. Didn't get to check out the spa. We did have have dinner at the restaurant. Really nice upscale place, food was delicious. Limited menu and no bar. You can order drinks and sit on the library. I would suggest dressier clothes for the restaurant although they had no problem with us showing up on jeans. The spa and restaurant are separate buildings from the hotel. It was still COVID season and staff shortages so there was no in room housekeeping during the stay (totally understandable and we ask for no service anyway) but front desk gave us towels or whatever we needed.

The bed was ok. Not the worst - not the best. Toilet and sink were so low. Especially the counter.
