Location of this motel was good...on the Vermont and New Hampshire state lines. Room was big with a nice balcony, but no furniture to sit outside.
The curb appeal left a lot to be desired. Front desk guy could not have cared less. Wifi password was wrong and I never could get internet. No balcony furniture.

The room was very clean and spacious with a nice balcony. There was a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker which I always need. The rooms also have a pull-out couch that comes in handy for extra guests. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, professional, and patient. One of my family members was extremely difficult, and the staff and management kept their cool despite his constant questions and changes. They helped me straighten out a confusing reservation through a 3rd party and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Housekeeping was also very friendly and checked to make sure I had what I needed.
Since there were not many restaurants open for eat-in during COVID, it would have been nice to have some kind of table to eat at besides the desk.

There is an obvious intent to upgrade the facilities. The rooms and Lobby were well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful property behind the hotel.

due to covid restrictions they only served juice, coffee, wrapped pastries and apples and bananas---which was sufficient. pool was closed also, due to covid
air freshner in room---if you are allergic to scents as such, could be uncomfortable. Lighting at mirrors are horrible.

The location was great, easy to get to, close to the downtown area. The staff and hospitality were great . . . a welcomed surprise in a non-chain motel. The breakfast was good, the coffee great. This is the place to stay if you are in the area

I loved the large room and the counter space in the bathroom as well as the extra counter space with sink area across from the bathroom with the coffee pot. The deck was nice to spend time outside.
I found the air conditioner to be very noisy and the ice machine outside of the room supper loud. I used ear buds, but the noise could still be heard. The bed and pillows were much too firm for me and my friend's liking.
