What a beautiful location! The room was very spacious and clean, the tub was great, the check process was so easy, and it was quiet and comfortable. The whole place is lovely. The burgers were excellent!

The bedroom got a bit too warm at night. I wish there were breakfast…

I was told there would be pastries in the morning but I only found coffee. The bathroom in my room was almost to small to use.

I loved the location and the old-world charm. I actually would go back assuming some of the dislikes will improve or be fixed. They did allow our small dog so that's really great ($50). Our activities allowed us to sleep well. We did feel safe.

Oh where do I begin. Thankfully we arrived before 6pm because after that, we didn't see a single staff member until morning. Our room, like the Hotel, was old and probably difficult to keep fresh. The fireplace we paid a little extra to have was not operating. The A/C sounded like a dump truck being loaded with boulders so that was a no. The golf course was under construction so that was a no. Would've been nice to know. The Bar & Restuarant just happened to be closed for our entire stay. Would've been nice to know. No promised morning Danish. Our TV did not work. Via phone call, we were advised to just go into another room and find a working remote (which did actually happen/help). There were only about 4 couples staying in the Hotel which was kind-of nice but 2 were placed next door to us which is whatever but you'd think we would be spread out a little considering.

For the cost of our stay we did wish the room was cleaner. I’d expect a clean room anywhere though. My room had 8-10 dead bugs very visible in the bathroom in the windowsill and sink (ladybugs/flies). Honestly, it was the first thing I saw when I walked in the bathroom. If someone had come in to clear prior to our visit they would have seen them. There was also one live bug on the bed frame. I did end up taking off the sheets and such to look for anything visible and didn’t see anymore. The woman at the front desk was SO friendly but wasn’t around much for towels/questions. Also there was no way to adjust the air in our room and it was warm on the top floor!

I booked deluxe family room with 400 square feet, but they gave me a standard room with 200 square feet with no explanation. Booking.com says pets are allowed per request free of charge. When I requested to bring a dog, they charged me $50 pet fee. False advertisement. No response when I asked for refund.
