Pleasant stay. No frills, but comfortable and sufficiently clean. Staff was very friendly. Great location right in the center of town. Two minute walk to Schilling, a great brewery/restaurant. 15 minutes to Cannon Mt. Ski Resort. Very easy access to and from Rt. 93. Hotel is old (from the 1800's) but this seemed charming to us & it is in good repair. Floor in our room was a bit warped, but again, seemed historically charming to us. Names of famous people who have stayed at hotel on various plaques around the place were also of interest. Price was right - would definitely return.
Breakfast was nothing to write home about. The coffee was hot and good. The food offered was prepackaged cereal, yogurt, and small muffins packaged in cellophane. Not a problem, but knowing that breakfast is included, I expected, at least fresh baked goods/bread. Also, our room was on the third floor, so had to climb two flights of long stairs. We didn't mind, but it is good to know.

Excellent location. Charming old hotel. Rooms were very clean. Since heating is old the hotel provides a nice plug in heater that works great. Dinner juicy down the street is your best option for food. DELICIOUS old fashioned authentic American fare.
Stairs were difficult so if you have any mobility issues ask for lower level room. Breakfast was all sugar. Cookies, cakes, muffins, yogurt and sweet cereal. They were all delicious but would really benefit from addition of even simple boiled eggs. Rooms are tiny and we did not get room we actually booked. We booked a kitchenette but got regular connected room with shared bathroom for our family of 4. On checkout we got charged 312$ extra that we had to call the in-keeper to refund.

Great staff, quaint room - I understand it's a historic building brought up to suit modern needs. Loved the location, the charm, easy parking, the novelty of using a physical, mechanical key for my room!
I didn't know when I booked that the bar restaurant would be closed. I think they could put an exhaust fan in the bathroom (it's an outside wall) instead of warning me that the fire alarm will go off if I leave the door open after shower. Also, my particular room was the furthest point from the boiler so mid afternoon shower (when hot water was not called by other guests) required - no exaggeration - 5 minutes for the hot water to get all the way to me.

The staff is so courteous and helpful. The location is perfect and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The locals are one-of-a-kind and treat you like you belong. There is a very intriguing history that goes with the Thayer’s Inn. I encourage anyone that enjoys art, history, good food, breathtaking views and helpful people to stay here at least once!
I loved everything about my stay at Thayer’s Inn. The only negative that I have to mention is in regards to the enterprise up the street. They will not rent you a car unless you bring it back to their location, so just be sure to have your transportation in order!

Room was great. Kiddo loved that he basically got his own separate quarters. Location was very central.
Walking up 2 floors with luggage. Could have used another floor lamp in bedroom for reading.

The hotel is historical, very clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Littleton is a very small town. Hotel right on the main street with restaurants and brewery at a walking distance and also a nice walking path by the river.
On the posting, they provided pictures of a restaurant and a bar at the main floor level but the restaurant was not open during our stay. We arrived on a Friday for 1 night and everything was mostly closed so we didn't got the chance to see much but it is still a nice and quiet village.

We got the suite with the kitchenette. It was a lot of space, and a view of the town out. The windows was nice, and each bedroom had privacy because it was separated with the bath.
We had trouble with the lock and didn’t get much assistance with that. Also, it was a third floor walk up, and that was not communicated until after we paid in full online. One of our guest had to stay with a friend around the corner because he couldn’t do the stairs. We also got a very long and extensive list of what to do and what not to do after we paid in full. These should be communicated upfront.

We loved our stay here! It’s a small town and this hotel is in the main area. It’s an older building so you will notice nuances. It’s best to set expectations that this is a historic location and will not be modern throughout. This was fine by us as it had character, a warm welcome and we were so comfortable! We would definitely stay again. The bed was perfect, the bathroom was older so had to shut the door for steam so the fire alarm wasn’t set off. This is a usual process with an older building. The staff were so welcoming and professional. Anything we had a question about, they were happy to help. It’s not usual in the US to have a breakfast option and they provide a small breakfast which was great.
It’s an older building and has small differences to a modern hotel. We thought this was fine and we appreciated the older style. If you’re looking for a completely modern hotel - maybe best to stay somewhere else. This hotel has charm and warm - we would love to stay again.

Excellent location, space, and staff. We loved the displays and photographs around of the inn’s history. Would definitely stay here again!
The second/smaller bedroom in the family suite (room 20) was on an incline, and so the bed was tilted downward. I ended up sleeping in reverse (tilted upward) so that circulation was not pooling at my head. I would recommend inserting slopes at the base of the head of the bed (next to the wall), so that it sits at level despite the room being sloped.

The room was large, the breakfast was basic but had nice sweet treats, the location of the hotel is great for enjoying Littleton.
We had a room with a kitchenette, and there was some leftover food in a polystytene container in the fridge, luckily there was a cleaners cart in the corridor so we put in in their trash bag, but this made us a little worried about how well our room had been cleaned
