What a wonderful, historic hotel right in downtown Stowe. Every staff member we encountered was so welcoming, especially bar hosts and bartenders. Clean room, great sitting areas. Food in restaurant was delicious. Loved that the pool was open until 10. Only a little constructive feedback - other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay.

We didn’t know we would be staying on the 2nd floor, or that we would not have access to an elevator for our luggage, it was a bit challenging. A couple of areas (Pool hallway and more notably the women’s bathroom down by the Whip) smelled horrible of sewage or rot. Bathtub/shower difficult to get in and out of in spite of hand rails, it’s so deep.

We had the most wonderful time during our stay at the Green Mountain Inn in a luxury suite. The room was clean and anything we needed was taken care of. Rye at the front desk was exceptional!

It was a little bit confusing trying to navigate where to find our room since we were in a luxury suite which was a different building from the inn. For older guests or someone who has never been, it may be nice to advertise that luxury suites are not directly part of the inn. You have to walk or drive over for some of the amenities (I.e., pool).

The hotel has evolved from a 19th century livery/stagecoach building that has been modernised, renovated and expanded upon over the years, however, this has been done exceedingly well as the inn is now very comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything modern accomodation should have but has managed to retain a huge amount of 'old-world charm'. Our room was huge (in the Coach House building), the breakfast room light and airy with view of the town's cute main street and the meals we had at the restaurant were excellent.

Not much... the fact we were only here for 2 nights for work is the only thing I can think of. Would have happily stayed much longer.

Liked the restaurants in the Inn. The Whip Bar and Grill on-site was fantastic, especially given the fact that it was busy because it was pouring outside. The staff are friendly and very efficient. Service and food arrival was quick and it was very busy. Shoutout to Kristy at Main 18 restaurant at breakfast for her great awesome service. Also, I liked the large TV in the room. The bed was comfortable, too.

Reception staff were ok. Maybe they need moe training. Checkout was not seemless, but I would still stay there again regardless because the restaurants and rooms are delightful. I would have given a 10 score if reception staff were more inviting and competent.

The Green Mountain Inn was just exceptional! Although built in 1833 - and therefore has a few quirks! - the rooms were clean, well appointed and quiet. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and s'mores (only $1 at the front desk!) by the firepit. Breakfast at 18 on Main in the hotel was delicious and served with a smile! Of special note are Tommy & Rey at the concierge desk. They were so welcoming and helpful with any question asked! The location in the center of Stowe gave us lots of walking destinations for food, scenery, shopping - everything a small town center can offer! We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you!

Can't think of a thing!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The facility was top notch, the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The history of the inn and the area was super interesting. The smallest room was just enough for my husband and I to enjoy for the week. The restaurants were amazing, amd even the poolside bar was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and attended to details. And the location of the inn was perfect for evening strolls thru town and visiting local shops.

The location of this property is spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and comfortable. We already had dinner reservations elsewhere but I love that the inn messaged me a week or so before to let me know to make a reservation at their restaurant if desired as they do get fully reserved- and they were when we visited. We got massages while there in the little separate building across the stress - amazing. I’ll definitely be interested in staying again (and getting another massage!) should I have the occasion to be in Stowe overnight.

The Green Mountain Inn was a beautifully restored Inn right in the middle of Stowe, Vt. with easy access to all Main Street had to offer. The Inn was decorated for the holidays and looked very festive. We ate in the Inn's restaurant twice for dinner and had excellent service and good food. We did also have breakfast in the breakfast room. Our experience was quick friendly service and a great start to touring the area. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Stowe again.

Stowe was very busy this time of the year with holiday festivities. Because of this, all of the Inn parking was taken, and we had to park 3 blocks away from the Inn later in the evening. I would suggest reserved parking for inn guests, with a parking pass for the windshield. I noticed people parked in the short term 10-minute parking. Those people opted to not walk the three blocks and look for a spot. I would imagine this parking situation would also happen during all of Stowe's busy times.

Liked our room, outdoor hot tub and pool in the winter was awesome, hotel staff very good, complimentary wine and cheese party was a pleasant surprise! Cleaning staff were very pleasant!

Hmmm, Linda Linda Linda, server at The Whip started off great, ended by cutting off my husband, who was not loud or drunk, probably because he asked her 3 times for a beer and forgot to get it for him...easier to just cut him off than just get the beer. Didn't want to admit to making a mistake. Needless to say, no tip! Otherwise food was very good and our seating location was excellent!

We had such a great stay here. The inn has an old-world charm and the staff can’t do enough for you. We loved the in-room jacuzzi fireplace ambience at a flick of a switch. The chess set ready to settle in for a game. The amazing power of the outdoor jacuzzi jets (and it was so lovely in the warm pool while the steam rose int9 the freezing outdoor air). The s’mores by the fire pit. The 4pm homemade cookies and tea on the verandah. The location right in town. And, randomly, the lotion was excellent.
