Staff is very kind and helpful, rooms are nice, especially liked the beautifully renovated bathroom.

It just really doesn`t worth 350$ per night for a room. It`s a nice hotel room but that`s all to it, nothing fancy. Also the fact there is only a tiny cooler in the room and "you can upgrade to a bigger one for 10$/night" - is ridiculous. And charging extra for breakfast at a 350$ per room rate is also weird. Overall not worth it, thought the hotel definitely has a character.

We went in December and there is a stunning replica model village which is lit in the foyer - it's a sign of the care and consideration the staff put into our whole stay. Dartmouth college is a short drive away and with gentle snow, the whole area looked magical. The food in the restaurant was also excellent and worth a trip all by itself so we'll definitely be going back for more New England hospitality.

Our room, a King suite, was fantastic and there was soooo much room! And it was a room worthy of more than just a, "Once over." There is an outbuilding, across from the entrance to the bar, that contains a covered porch with 6-8 rocking chairs with tables in between them. Those tables contain ashtrays. I enjoy the occasional cigar and it was awesome after a long day of exploring to sit back, have a lovely beverage and light up a stick...while rocking back and forth!

We really didn't have allot to say about what could improve. Some may, but for a sleepy, small New England town, it fit perfectly with our adventure, therefore, we have no complaints. If you go, the Inn sits on the main drag of Norwich, that's all there is to the town.

Lovely building, good restaurant, spacious room, good location

400/night a bit high and don’t feel extra charge for dog cleaning is warranted unless there is an issue. Appreciate dog friendly stay available but extra charge seems excessive when no extra cleaning needed. Perhaps hold a security deposit in case of issue and then refund it.

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was an extremely comfortable King. The in house restaurant had a warm ambiance and the food was excellent. Best of all, I misplaced my very expensive hearing aids. We had already checked out when the housekeeping staff found them and the front desk called us while we were still in the area so we could easily return and get them. Above and beyond the call of duty.

The room felt like home. High ceilings and fire place made it so cozy. Heated towel rack was a plus! The shared living room spaces in the main Inn were welcoming and very cozy as well. Multiple fireplaces, sofas added to the ambiance. We also ate at the restaurant. While the food was ok, the beer was great!

Bathroom was missing a sliding glass door but didn’t affect shower.

Location is good. Easy to get to Hanover and other towns close by. Room was quite comfortable.

The breakfast cost $4/person and was only fair at best. I guess you get what you pay for. If the Norwich Inn doesn't want to include breakfast in their rates then I recommend that they charge more for breakfast but include fresh fruit such as oranges and bananas, and perhaps also strawberries, blueberries, etc to put on cereal or mix with yogurt. Charging $50/night for a pet is excessive and seems to take advantage of people who choose to travel with their dogs and/or cats. Most places include a one time charge, which makes sense if any sort of one time cleanup becomes necessary.

My fiance stayed here because of a sudden weather change and he was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. He video chatted me the whole hotel because he loved the historic decor and charm. He ordered from the on site restaurant and said the food was delicious. It was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. They really go above and beyond here, he left his Sweatshirt by mistake and they are mailing it to him! Just wonderful!

Everything was great!

Quaint property near to Hanover. Helpful staff with easy check in process, comfortable and clean room with plenty of space. Historic property means lots of creaks, including footsteps from rooms above, but as we’re heavy sleepers who go to bed pretty late this didn’t bother us.

Value for money - very expensive for what is a nice inn with basic ammenities.

The breakfast was great as was the special brunch arranged by Ms. Parsons. We liked our room although it was a bit bigger than we needed and the climb to the third floor was a bit much for my 80 year old body.

IWe didn't like the location of the room. However the environment of the Inn itself was probably worth it all. If we ever return which I hope we do, I will be more specific about the room reservation and the building in which it is located.
