I live in DC but I booked this hotel to get away from the July 4th fireworks noise in my neighborhood- a staycation. I had a corner room that faced the street but there was barely any noise. The room was clean and lovely. Shower was modern and spacious. Staff was friendly and I enjoyed the complimentary wine at 5pm. They even had bikes that were free and available to use! It was easy for me to get to the National Harbor for work as the hotel is walking distance to King Street metro station where there is a bus that takes you directly to the Harbor. The Tasting Room's (the restaurant that's connected to the hotel) a/c was not working so I couldn't eat there but there are tons of other good restaurants on the street where the hotel is located. I would definitely stay at the Lorien again.

Nothing i didn't like.

It was clean, serene, beautiful! Bed was super comfortable and balcony view was gorgeous. Enjoyed nespresso coffee every morning. The shower was soothing and the robe super comfortable. Loved the courtyard and eating at the attached restaurant. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would come back. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation.

I felt $40. / day parking is pretty expensive. Also we had a lot of trouble with the cable and couldn’t get some of the programs we had wanted to watch.

This was a trip that I planned for my bf for his 21st birthday. I cannot find works to describe out stay. It was beyond amazing. Check in was very easy, vallet parking was perfect. I paid for a king room, they had a great suprise for us— they upgraded us to a king suite for no extra charge. They also had champange and two glasses set up in the room for us. They prepared a very sweet birthday card and yummy candies and snacks with the card. The staff- phenominal!!! The beds and pillows, amazing!! Most importantly, VERY VERY clean!! Best hotel stay I have ever had. 100000/10 would reccommend. Very cute and perfect little town surrounds it. Wish we could have utilized the beautiful little sitting area at the entrance, but it rained when we came. Yummy resturants surround as well. Will be staying again soon!

I thought the 25 dollar amenity on top of the rate was excessive and the items covered should have been included in the hotel rate.

Everything! The courtyard is beautiful! The hotel smelled fresh and clean all throughout. We loved the lighting and decor as well. the staff was so fun and courteous. they all greeted our crazy questions with a smile, lol. my husband & i celebrated our anniversary here & it was more than was imagined. our suite was perfect. the open bathroom concept felt like we was really on vacation. loved every moment of it

Everything was very clean- almost new and the entrance ( courtyard) was charming.

I did not like the fact that we had to valet and self parking in a garage was not an option. Also the sink in the bathroom was very high and made of difficult and uncomfortable to brush my teeth.

It is a beautiful property with sizeable rooms. The restaurant on location is good and staff is very friendly.

We were initially in a corner room until the room next door had guests. They were incredibly loud. The connecting door and thin walls didn’t help one bit. We were forced to change rooms as a result. The bedding and pillows were not comfortable at all. I would recommend a corner king room but not a deluxe king room.

I love the location, the rooms are quiet, the coffee is strong, the courtyard is inviting, shower water pressure & temp were great, the bath products had a great scent and were very nice.

the view from rm 222 is “meh” but for a last minute booking after a canceled flight, totally a-ok for me and my kiddo. If this were a romantic trip with my husband, I might have felt a bit disappointed.

The breakfast was very good! Coffee was excellent and we tried the carry-out options as well as the full menu and enjoyed both. We loved the King suite with balcony…lovely!

We had problems with one television, but they were in the process of replacing them throughout the property and gave us consideration for that in our billing statement.

Great location, brick courtyard, rooms offset from street, very courteous staff, big comfortable rooms.

Nothing really. Minor issue: one valet had some serious BO that lingered in our car for a while after pickup.
