The Front Desk staff was nice and informed about the area around the hotel and even set us up with reservations to have VIP treatment at the Chart House restaurant. The location of the hotel was also very convenient to dining and entertainment establishments as well as to the nearby Metro station that allowed trouble free access to the D.C. area.

The cleaning staff seemed to do a cursory job at best to keep our room clean as we stayed for a week in the same room. Floors were never vacuumed and on at least 2 days of the stay, the housekeeping staff never even entered our room while we were out. It seems that over the past 2 years COVID has become a very convenient excuse to do a mediocre job and justify low quality work out of fear of COVID even though the government was giving away all the vaccine doses anyone could possibly want.

The location was great, the hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located right on King St; a few minutes from the subway on one side and shops and restaurants on the other side. There's a bar/restaurant inside but it closes at pm. I wish that would stay open later so guests can enjoy a drink before heading to bed.

We were on the 6th floor and it smelled like animal urine in the hallway the entire time. Also, we had to change rooms because our smart fridge did not work, but they were nice enough to give us a discount on our valet due to the inconvenience. Finally, I don't like the fact that the only ice machine is on the ground floor. I didn't notice if that was stated in the description on the website because I assumed it was common to have more than one ice machine.

The location was nice, staff was super friendly (Shout-out to Roland at the front desk!), hotel was overall nice

Had to go all the way downstairs for ice, which I didn't feel like doing. Would've been tremendously better if they had ice on each floor. Parking is expensive, although I didn't have to worry about it since I came on a Saturday night, any other day would've been an issue.

This hotel had some pretty cool amenities and a great staff. The staff went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. I'm very COVID-conscious, so I was happy when they told me that each room has its own air circulation; I wouldn't be sharing with the rooms next door. The rooms themselves were very nice--modern and cozy at the same time. Travelling alone, I liked that there were security measures in place to make me feel safer, including 3 levels of door locks in my room (the automatic lock/handle, the deadbolt, and a door stop), card-only access to elevator operation, and a pretty spacious in-room safe that was easy to operate. Last but certainly not least, the location is superb; it was a 3-minute walk to the Metro and an easy 25-minute stroll to the waterside along the main street (King Street) in Old Town Alexandria, with tons of lovely shops and restaurants all along the way. (There's also free public transit up and down this street and in the city of Alexandria, but I prefer walking.) Overall, it was a great stay!

The first room I was given didn't have a functioning deadbolt, but I came right back down, and the staff happily changed my room. The second room I was in had an adjoining door, which was okay but always makes me a little nervous. The third room I was in (changed at 11pm in my pajamas because of noisy neighbors next door) was just right. No adjoining door and away from noisy neighbors.

Very convenient location in Old Town Alexandria starting on King St walking was a nice 20 minute walk to the water dock. Room was spotless and very clean. Bonus: The shower had amazing pressure!

There wasn’t a small toothpaste in the bathroom with the other small items in case you forget to pack.

we loved how comfy and clean everything was. there was no room service due to their restaurant closing. but there were many restaurants nearby. the bed was comfortable. we are spoiled with our sleep number bed at home but we slept fine with their bed.

no where to self park on premises so we had to pay valet.

Very clean. Room with comfortable king size bed. Good location. 5 minute walk to Metro with quick access to Wash DC on yellow line. L’Enfant stop is very close to Air and Space Museum and Capital area. Hotel is easy 1 mile walk to waterfront. Many shops, bars and restaurants on the way. Free trolley stop right across street. Great value. Will definitely stay again. Lots to do and see in Alexandria.

No complaints. Breakfast not available due to Covid but plenty places in area.

The staff and service were wonderful! We stayed for a week and enjoyed how thoughtful and courteous the staff was. The hotel overall was clean and modern, and I’d stay there again. It’s in a great location, walking distance to anything you might need or just exploring Old Town.

The on-site restaurant was closed(apparently it’s been closed the entire pandemic) so you had to walk next door to the coffee shop for coffee or to another hotel for any refreshments. Also the rooms have mini fridges but no microwave which would have been nice.

I love the quiet friendly neighborhood and the many restaurants up and down King St. I love that there's a 24hr diner on the same block as the hotel. They also have a trolley that rides King Street since parking can be a challenge.

I don't have any complaints.

The hotel is in a convenient location and a short walk to the subway, restaurants, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I booked our Thanksgiving weekend reservation about 6-8 weeks in advance and was aware that the hotel restaurant & bar were closed due to Covid. However, we had hoped that they would have reopened by the time we had arrived since local restaurants are open for dine-in meals, but the hotel's restaurant and bar are still closed.
