We had a really great stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites in Danville, VA. We booked for 6 nights because my husband had training all week. I went with him and took work with me but planned to enjoy the pool in the afternoons because it was supposed to be beautiful and very warm all week. On Monday evening I found out that they were going to be closing the pool the next day but after explaining how I had planned to use it all week they delayed doing so. We even had friends who came over to visit and booked a room for a couple of days and we were able to use the pool and visit with them. All of the staff was very friendly and quickly met any needs that we had. The rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. We also really loved the breakfast bar that was well prepared and stocked. There is also a Mexican restaurant as well as a Chinese restaurant next door within walking distance. We only ate at the Mexican restaurant and it was great. There is a grocery store as well as a Family Dollar in the shopping center next door for any items you may need. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Danville.

The bed/pillows were so much better than what I have found at other hotels. Staff was amazing and went above and below what was expected. One staff member, Andrew (front desk Wed 10/11 ~7AM) actually drove my colleague and myself in his car to an event because we couldn't find an Uber or Lyft. A BIG THANK YOU TO HIM!!

This is easy... larger coffee cups and water glasses - the ones in the rooms and available at breakfast. Those little baby size cups are way too small. Minimum size should be 14 to 16 oz. Another thing could be a list of possible transportation options for those without cars. Uber, Lyft, and cabs are so few and we had to ask for other options. We did get rides but it was just difficult to do.

The location was good. We were greeted by Crystal at check-in. She made everything go smoothly and quickly and gave us some warm cookies. Her smiling face was a great welcome after a long drive. Next morning at breakfast, Janet was very nice and got some peanut butter for me both mornings I was there. She spoke with several families, making everyone feel welcome. She made sure everything stayed stocked up and clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and even though it was across from the elevator, it was surprisingly quiet. I slept so good! I didn't even wake up in the night.

I have nothing to complain about, really. Nothing comes to mind. It was a very good stay!

Family owned and operated. I met Andrew Jones the owner/manager in person. He is working every day and is a very down to earth guy who is proud of his hotel. I will say that while I love booking.com, in this case I will book directly with this hotel from now on. They have special rates for VIR racers as well.

Initially had some issues trying to change my arrival date because my flight was delayed and I was going to be the next morning. Was a bunch of miscommunication between Booking.com / hotel / me and I was pretty frustrated, but I got to the property and it was resolved much better in person

The breakfast was very good. I liked the crispy bacbacon and fluffy scrambled eggs.

There was only one thing I would change. The bathtub was pretty high up. I have had both knees replaced and I am afraid of falling. Since it was rather high up, some grab bars would have been helpful.

Breakfast was very nice..had more protein selections than most places and was kept and refilled promptly

We live only about 7 miles from the hotel and was having a horrible septic issue..and was disappointed when I was called after booking that we could not rent a room..the hotels rule..but after explaining and begging the front desk personnel she rented us a room .and had to stay a second night...felt the room prices were a bit pricey.

Friendly Staff and helped us with anything we needed from the front desk, house keeping and breakfast staff, Well Done.

We traveled to see our Granddaughter receive her Degree from Liberty University which invites every business within 75 miles to double or triple their rates, so there is that. Not a good value since we travel a lot.

Great location as the first hotel on the way into Danville from VIR. Good location with a grocery store, McDonalds, and a few restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff.

Breakfast is very typical for a hotel in the USA these days which is nothing special.

Convenient location to the bypass and close to town, no issues finding parking, staff was friendly, my room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable!

The generic brand of in-room coffee tasted awful. Had to pour it out and go downstairs to the lobby for fresh coffee.

The rooms were spotless, the bed was comfortable and they provided many pillows. The bathroom was immaculate. The free breakfast had many healthy options. I cannot say enough about each and every staff member we encountered. They were all pleasant and helpful.

We were happy with everything. No complaints.
