Beautiful B&B with Mountain View’s, welcoming hosts, wonderful breakfast, and lovely animals. Love the remoteness. The hosts were very helpful with finding places to eat and had all the creature features needed The bed was comfortable and was refreshing waking up to a rooster crowing rather than horns beeping.

The bathroom is private but have to walk across the hall with open view of entrance door downstairs, which was ok because we brought our robes. The hosts gave us our space so it was ok.

The home was very attractive and well furnished. All the necessities and typical comforts were provided. The bedroom was private and secure. The kitchen was close with continuous access to coffee, tea, or water. There was close, convenient parking to the front door. Darlene also prepared a great breakfast.

The only challenge we had was finding the property which is located on a long very rural road near the bottom of a mountain. I’m sure navigating this access road is easy during the daylight and good weather. But, unfortunately our arrival was delayed due to heavy fog earlier in the afternoon. This made us unable to arrive until after dark and again heavy fog. We eventually found our way with phone assistance from our hosts and all was good.

Blue Ridge Mountain Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations for our stay! It was a very unique experience and we felt as though David and Darlene were dear friends that we had known forever! It was like going to visit friends who we had known, moved away from and gone to visit. The BNB itself was super comfortable and clean. It was, by no means, bougie or fancy, but clean and a comfortable place to rest your head. The breakfast was delicious and eggs were fresh and straight from their chickens! Delicious fruit and bacon as well! They will accommodate your needs here with absolutely no problem. It was very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, making it an ideal location to stay. Dining out in the nearby town was also a great experience! David and Darlene are knowledgeable about dining locations. We chose an Italian place and the food quality, portions and prices were incredible! If you do stay here be sure to bring any leftovers you may have but won’t be able to keep and they will feed it to their chickens. We didn’t know that, but had lots of food leftover from our dinners. I would highly recommend Blue Ridge Manor BNB , if you’re looking for the kind of experience I’ve described! Enjoy!

Delightful home made breakfast! Bacon, eggs, biscuits, grits, fresh fruit and great coffee. They have 9 hens so the eggs are fresh every morning! The home is surrounded by beautiful mountains and orchards. Dave and Darlene are great hosts! It's just a shame we couldn't stay longer.

The foam pad on the mattress made the bed a bit too soft and wobbly, and the fitted sheets wouldn't stay on. It might be time for a new mattress.

Friendly hosts shared stories about their home and surrounding area. Lots of birds and chickens and a couple of friendly dogs. The view from the driveway was amazing

It was very secluded and although it was nice and quiet getting to and from other areas took some time. There is no town nearby and a good place to have dinner is 30 min drive away. The room had a sliding glass door but no balcony so it was locked so we couldn’t enjoy the fresh air of the mountains.

Lovely B&B in a secluded location. It is a little out of the way but if you follow the directions provided it’s not a problem. Dave and Darlene are the perfect hosts and are pretty much welcoming you into their home. Our room was lovely and clean, up its own private staircase with the bathroom on the opposite side. Lovely big comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and made all the more enjoyable by the company of our hosts and the other guests. Could have stayed and chatted all day.

Everything was wonderful. The innkeeppers were very sweet. The setting and the views were gorgeous! The atmosphere was very comfortable. The room was very well appointed and the bed was wonderful.

The private bath was actually located across a hallway from the bedroom at the top of the stairway which gave no privacy going between the bedroom and bath. Perhaps a curtain across the top of the stairs would give more privacy. This is the only reason I did not rate our stay a perfect 10!

The breakfast was delicious. We never ate Grits and they did and were really good.

The attention for Mr. David was really nice and he made us feel really comfortable and welcome. His wife wasn't so friendly, I gave thank and told her the breakfast was delicious and she didn't answer. the same when we saw her in the morning barely answer to us Good Morning. We never saw her again. But the welcoming of Mr. David made our day really good. They know already, but it's important to have more road signs, at night is very dark and difficult to find the place.

Lovely home from home B&B with friendly owners. Our room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great and freshly made. The huge collection of DVDs that you could watch in your room was a real bonus too, especially after a long day when you just want to chill. We had a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend.

Our bathroom was just across the landing which was not really an issue as still private as ours was the only room up the stairs and it was very clean, but as a suggestion, maybe a curtain could be positioned at the top of the stairs just to give a little more privacy just incase someone is walking around downstairs when you want to pop to the loo at night etc. But that is really picky. Slightly further from the Blue Ridge parkway than we thought but well worth it.

Beautiful views of the mountains and fireflies dancing in the night. Its a comfortable and homey stay with great hosts.

The drive to the house was confusing and included dirt roads etc but once we got to the house everything was great.
