The check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was super nice and helpful. We asked for recommendations for restaurants and the front office assistant was super informative about the area and local restaurants. The breakfast area was spacious and the breakfast was very nice. Little touch to mention was the fruit bowl by the elevator with positive messages written on the fruit, very nice touch. Love that it is pet friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The side street by the hotel was very much in need of repair and was busy with local traffic. The main street to the hotel is fine though.

Breakfast was amazing and so many options and a hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, Waffle bar with blueberry batter. And the staff is truly the definition of southern hospitality! Small touches to make this feel like a 10 star establishment. Clean, clean and did I say clean? Smelled fresh and no odors on the room floors. Nice pool and gym. Great location too.

That we couldn't have stayed longer! Truly nothing bad to say about this place, it was AMAZING! Can't wait to visit there again in the future!

We thought this hotel was great for out friend in Galax having a wedding. The room was clean and smelled great. The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious. Clearly the management is doing what it is supposed to do. If we are ever back in the area we would no doubt come here.

The breakfast and breakfast area were excellent. We liked the idea of having 2 coffee areas , one for the people eating breakfast, and one for people grabbing a coffee to go. Well thought out. I liked the fact that sugar free syrup was available. The staff kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked

Friendly and welcoming staff very efficient. The hotel was very clean and well organized. The breakfast was a great start each morning and really saved us from having to find a restaurant for breakfast. The hotel was easily accessible from the main road going into Galax.

Friendly, welcoming staff and pristine atmosphere. Lots of extra little touches like motivational phrases on the bananas, fruit infused water, etc. Felt very clean. Breakfast had all the things. Definitely one of the best I've had. It even had chocolate chips for the waffles! The duvet on the bed was wonderful. Probably my favorite covering ever in a hotel I've stayed in. Would definitely stay there again. Overall vibe was very nice.

The bed was fairly firm. It could've been more comfy. Maybe add a nice topper? The hot tub was closed for maintenance and my sore muscles were looking forward to it. The pool area wasn't too bad, but needs some renovation. Narrow spaces to sit and walk beside the pool. Felt like I could easily slip into the pool. Floor is cracking a bit and just needs some overall updating. There is no handle bar down the steps to walk down in to the pool for older folk. It's just at the top of the steps. My mom did not swim because of that. There is a chair lift to lower people into it (I think that's what it was), though.

The bed was very comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast was as expected. The staff gave us two bottles of cold water and two wrapped cookies when we checked in.

The cookies were stale, but they meant well.

The cleanliness and ambience

The breakfast was all mixed up. Vegetarian options are limited. They mixed the vegetarian and non vegetarian items. They could have them in separate heat boxes.

Although very clean there were a few maintenance items ....loose / wrinkled wallpaper, mold/mildew in the shower caulking.

A little noisy....residential street on one side of building has a lot of traffic (odd # rooms).
