An outstanding venue for a special occasion. In our case it was New Years! We loved it all. It could not have been better. And the village of Middleburg was an added attraction from the shops to the restaurants.

Cant think of anything I would change. Keep on delivering like this.

The staff was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The service received at the spa was excellent. The Salamander Team surprised my husband and I with a bottle of wine and pastries, for our 54th wedding anniversary. Our stay at Salamander will be remembered as one of our best experiences. We plan to return.

We enjoyed everything.

i liked the oatmeal. i did not like the chicken sausage with the fritata. My husband liked the eggs benedict. The grounds are great, exceeded my expectations. I thought, that is why the room rates are high, it was for ground maintenance. I like the expansive view from the balcony and the nice walk around the property especially the culinary garden. It gave my husband an idea for our backyard. the room is nice, the bathroom, too. What was troublesome was when we could not find the light switch when I had to have a zoom meeting at 5 am and the room was dark. where was it? not by the door where you expect it to be. The staff are exceptional though, really helpful. When I wanted a postcard with possibly a view of the resort, the front desk man ran around to find it, there were none. I appreciated the effort, though.

The grilled chicken with the peach and pistachio salad. Maybe I should have the burger with the fries. After all, I was on vacation, right?

The breakfast from Harriman's was absolutely exceptional. The service was very much complimentary to the meal. The spa services also very much detailed. I love the amenities the spa had to offer. I will definitely be back.

The only thing I didn't that my room was so far from the elevator. It felt like i went down two long hallways to get to the elevators

Very expensive for the cost of the room. Understand the dining and spa being very premium but room costs are absurdly high per night.

Very beautiful property!!! The Spa is amazing!

The wine bar our first night! Slow to serve and lack of follow through. We had to follow up on our seating etc. We visited again and it was amazing.
