Bay Inn Hotel

Everything I mean absolutely everything. 10/10. It's a small quiet area 20 rooms. The owner and his wife are great they checked on me. They have an outdoor courtyard with beautiful patio furniture and plants. It's near the beach and all the hottest food spots. And the price was great. Definitely my spot everytime I come in to town‼️❤️

Nick, who owns the place along with his wife, was incredibly friendly, helpful and nice! I was coming to town to run a half marathon in Virginia Beach and he kindly answered logistical questions I posed before I even booked my room. Upon my arrival he continued to provide great tips to ensure I had a wonderful stay. To be able to walk across the street to see a beach sunrise was magical.

I loved the location. It was 1 block away from the beach and the property was nice and quiet (sans the airplanes coming and landing at the base but that's all the hotels in the area). I bought the room for myself and I will say it's a perfect place if it's just you (and 1 other person)! I would book here again given the chance.

The room and grounds were exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. I was traveling alone, and felt very safe the entire time

The bed was really hard and the pillows as well. Everything was awesome except the bed. Also the shampoo was in a packet like a big catsup packet. That was weird. Improve the bed, the pillows and the shampoo and everything is would be perfect!

A/C was excellent, Bed comfortable, excellent water pressure, very hot water, convenient to downtown Norfolk.

Need to remind guest of policy for activity in center court area after 10PM. Other guest were partying loudly in the center court area well past midnight. I do not have an issue with get togethers; however, after 10PM on a weekday should be confined to rooms or keeping the discussion down to a normal talking level. Not sure when they were getting up the next morning but I had to leave early.

It's a nice and quiet place. This was my second stay and I would recommend staying here.

The only slight problem is that it takes a long time, in the morning, for the shower water to heat up. Other than that, it's a great place.

The location is great, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit tight in the back. The courtyard is set up nicely with little groups of chairs and tables, making it nice to sit out with coffee or drinks. The room looked relatively new - paint, tile, sinks, etc. Was really nice having the microwave and larger fridge in addition to the coffee maker.

The room got kinda warm sometimes, but the cooling off worked well. Only two hangers on the wall-mounted hanging rack; would have been nice to have more.

Location & service was great!!!! beach access was perfect. room was newly renovated which was a pleasant surprise! everything I needed for my weekend getaway. mini fridge, comfy bed, and the sun!

I wish they allowed pets lol
