Our stay at The Carson Hot Springs in Washington was fantastic. The location was stunning, and we especially enjoyed the excellent mineral pool and unique bathhouse with mineral waters. To top it off, we were fortunate enough to have a room with a balcony and a jacuzzi, which made for a truly memorable experience.

While The Carson Hot Springs offers some unique experiences, the cost may be considered high compared to similar options (especially outside Washington state). Additionally, although the facilities were functioning well, the rooms felt a bit cramped and outdated.

The price for a room with a private hot tub on its deck was very reasonable since Carson Hot Spring Resort and Spa is by no means a new and fresh facility. It feels more like an adult getaway with a "camping in the woods" feel. We really liked our experience there including the use of the bath house. Fantastic! We also recommend a meal at the restaurant/cafe at the golf course. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Finally, we asked the front desk host when we checked out if she had recommendations of local places to visit. She recommended the Bonneville Lock and Dam as an option, and we loved it! Thank you for a good recommendation.

The lobby area felt out of date. The check-in desk was fine, but the larger room to play games or have a cup of coffee were sub-par compared to the rest of the facility. All food and drinks were available only by vending machine other than a water area to get a cup of water. I would have liked to see at least a small coffee/barista stand inside where one could purchase a hot or cold beverage and indulge in a pastry or breakfast sandwich in the morning. No breakfast foods were an option, and the coffee was a carafe of OK coffee. I believe such would give the Resort and Spa nature of this facility a more luxurious feel to what is already a wonderfully quaint place.

Great location tucked in the woods gives you the ultimate experience for a getaway, will definitely be returning.

Only disappointment we had was when booking we had called to ask for a room with a hot tub and was told to book a deluxe king room but when we got to our room there was no hot tub and was later informed that it’s a deluxe king w/spa tub. Wish it would have been a bit more clear, we wouldn’t have paid the extra money.

everything about our stay was wonderful. The location is excellent and there is always lots of parking, the staff are quick and efficient when it came to check in. For check out you can just leave the keys on the table in the room and leave, no need to make an extra trip to the front desk. The views from the private tub on the balcony is fantastic and tranquil

Literally the only downside to staying here is the cost is very high and you only get less than a handful of amenities. We booked a room with a private soaking tub on the balcony, and there isn’t a kitchen (we knew this ahead of time). None of the rooms have kitchens or even kitchenette’s, which for the price is terrible. Everything else about our stay was perfect and we will definitely be back, it’s just a shame that these rooms are so costly when you can spend half that price at almost any other place and get a small kitchenette or at least a microwave. We had to bring food we knew didn’t have to be cooked, which is okay if you know before hand but I’m sure most people don’t realize you can’t cook until you get there.

Breakfast was available at the golf course nearby; food & service were both very good. Had a very relaxing visit, but also had time to visit a few local attractions within a 15 to 30 minute drive from the property. The spa services were great and the mineral pool was very well maintained.

A written explanation of what to expect in the spa area would have been helpful.

Great place with a wonderful welcoming clerk at the front desk. Beautiful surroundings and laid back atmosphere. Give it a 10 for being dog friendly also. The hot tub on the private balcony was amaze balls especially having zero chemicals in it, as someone who gets sick from chlorine I was unreasonably excited by that.

Lodge hasn't been updated since the 80's, it felt like, but it was clean and comfortable. The bath house was quaint, old fashioned and reminded me of something from American horror story, but staff was super friendly. Would have been nice to do a couples soak and wrap instead of a men and woman's side

Good golf course, I played 9 holes & had called ahead to rent clubs. The indoor hot springs pool was very large and felt great, & they also had a cold pool. Great location for driving to hike on both sides of the Columbia River Gorge, & I also drove to Mt. Hood one morning. Staff recommended good hiking spots,.

Location was great and really comfortable big bed.

Very tired carpet and old furnishings in room, for example apple home device with wrong time and not working. Also quite difficult to sleep at night with poor sound insulation. Need to travel to get basic food and breakfast, bottled water etc.

Therapy pool. Scenery. The golf course had excellent views and was challenging for my expertise at golf👎. I highly recommend this place. I have never been to a mineral springs before.

Things were dated.. no big deal to me. Lots of stairs, had to be expected since it sits on a hillside.

The hot pool was amazing. The scenic views were so beautiful. To sit by the fire as the sunset was the sun rise over the mountains were amazing. Very relaxing calming night.

The rooms were dated, but the were maintained nicely. The stairs to our room may need a little Maintence.
