The entire property is very, very clean. Anything you need is within walking distance. There’s a nice walking path. The trees were wonderful, the parking spaces were wide, the exercise room looked over the street and walking path, so there was always something or someone interesting to look at. The rooms were exemplary in their spotlessness, they smelled clean, had good natural lighting, were very quiet, and had very, very comfortable beds, so important after hospital and medical appointments. The common area between the lobby and the bar/breakfast area was a great place to lounge in, play games, or eat a snack. The gas fire gave great ambience. The breakfast was phenomenal! Happy sigh! I have never seen such an offering for a complimentary breakfast. They had eggs, scrambled and hard boiled, meats, apple cinnamon waffles with so many toppings to choose from. Salsa, cheeses, syrups, fruit, oat, almond, soy and regular milks, scones, carrot cake muffins, gluten free options, already hot oatmeal with 9 to 12 toppings just for that. I loved everything. But for all of the wonderful things this property had going for it, its true treasure is the people who work there. Every person that I spoke with, from the maids, the waitresses, to the hosts at the front desk, was friendly, personable, helpful, and genuinely happy. I didn’t catch everyone’s names, but Thomas, James, Sean, Conner, Lydia, and John were all stellar. Thank you to each of you for making our stay more pleasant that I had ever experienced in a hotel before.

The hotel is a little hard to get into and out of, but isn’t too terrible, and like many places in the area, they charge for parking.

The room in general was great. Always quiet, clean, and the front desk are always there to help and are really friendly. This is our third stay, and I am forever loyal to this hotel. Seattle Children Hospital discharged my son early and the hotel did not charge a fee for canceling that same day as other hotels do.

The only dislike was the sofa bed. Perfect size but the mattress was not that comfortable. I know these sofa beds are not met for confront so I'm not making a big deal out of it, just saying this for future customers.

room was very comfortable, clean quiet and bigger than we'd anticipated. all staff we interacted with at desk, breakfast and in halls were friendly, helpful and nice. location was very convenient to UW campus and accessible to restaurants, downtown, etc.

More fruit/vegetable options at breakfast. whole apples and oranges are available, but not easy to eat

Because of limited time, we were unable to stay for breakfast but managed to get yogurt, hard boiled eggs and a couple of bananas to go. Very good and much appreciated!

Think the parking was overpriced. We try to stay at places with free parking and this time, couldn’t find one with the location we needed. And the additional taxes that Seattle charges for hotel stays are always more than expected.

I wasn’t expecting much when I booked it, but was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, despite being an older building. The breakfast was amazing. The beds were super comfy, the ac was great. They had Aveda toiletries. The are not trying to cut corners in anyway, which so many businesses are doing lately. We went on an extremely busy weekend, and most hotels were sold out. It must have been at capacity- but the service and staff were great. I also loved that it was close to an amazing outdoor mall with little concerts, restaurants and great shops!

Paying for parking

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The associates were very nice. The breakfast was a nice plus.

I'm not a real fan of paying for the parking in addition to the room

I liked the room, beds were comfortable, bathroom was nice also. I enjoyed having a free continental breakfast every morning.

I didn't like that the restaurant was closed and there was no bar. I also was disappointed that there was no room service. In the advertisement you said that you had a coffee bar with a barista, but there was none. It also said that you had kitchens in your hotel rooms, but when we got to the room there was no kitchen. So I would check your advertising page if I where you.

Check in & check out was quick and easy. The property and rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was PERFECT to Seattle's medical hub, which made it easy for us to commute to our appointments. If you're there for Seattle Children's appointments, this hotel will provide you with a Seattle Children's nightly rate-- but you HAVE to ask for it, otherwise they won't provide you with the discounted rate.

The pillows were TINY. I wish there were a bit larger. I had to ask for extra, which they were more than willing to bring up to our room. Other than this, our stay was great.

They had a good complimentary breakfast with many choices- although would like some none pork based meat protein offerings. Fresh waffle station was nice. Gym was nice. Location was close to University Village, which had a lot of food and drink options as well as a large super market and shops. It was very close to a walking/ jogging/ bike path running along UW perimeter leading to UW, train and stadium.

It was overall nice- no complaints
