English and Korean speaking staff. Great location to check out the Olympic Peninsula. Super close to Olympic Game Farm. We went to the Hoh Rainforest(2.5hrs ish away) , Hurricane ridge (.5hrs ish away) , and Sol duc(about 1.5hrs away).  I really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast is great and I've never stayed before the renovations but it's very clean and the staff are so friendly. As soon as we walked in you could tell the place was clean. I really don't enjoy carpet because you can only get it so clean, so their floors not being carpet was a huge plus for me.  For breakfast they have a waffle maker, pancake maker, boiled eggs, muffins, fruit, and pastries along with juices milk and cereal. The pastries are awesome. You know the place is well taken care of cause the owner is there daily running things. Breakfast is from 6-10AM and they have a coin laundry on site. A HUGE plus if you're staying for a while or with children. AC works amazing and is very cold. I would stay here again!

Everything was great. I have no complaints. Would stay here again. The staff is amazing and everything is clean.

The location is on main street right off the highway and appx 10 minutes to the Dungeness Spit. We stayed in a handicap accessible room because I am recovering from leg surgery and am using a scooter. The bathroom was double size and there was plenty of turn-around room. They also had a shower chair available. The room was clean and just what we needed for a quick night away. The breakfast was very basic (pancakes, waffles, pastries, yogurt, juice, cereal) but very welcome - not many places do free breakfast anymore. Visit the Alder Wood Bistro for dinner if you get a chance (make a reservation on a weekend evening)

The halls had a strange smell that often older motels have.

Breakfast was pretty good. Very small room...hard to find. Mostly carbohydrates...had some interesting donuts!!! Lamps on both sides of the beds was a plus. Charging station much appreciated. Very clean, you can tell they are upgrading everything. They have a knock off Keurig in the room which I always appreciate. Pretty close to everything in Sequim on a main street. Good stay for 2 nights in Sequim.

Everything was pretty good...really no complaints..I would stay there again for the money it was good.

The new owners and management staff was very helpful and friendly. They actually had a breakfast as advertised - Waffle machine, pancake maker, cereal, fruit.. not a muffin, apple and milk in a bag like most places nowadays. Comfortable beds in good sized rooms. There is a market across the street and many restaurants, entertainment and activities options for while family or just the traveling business person within blocks. I would choose Ocean Star Inn over the local casino(its only 7 minutes away if you wanna go play a little) at half the cost. You definitely get more than you pay for at this price point,

It may seem strange to say but there was not anything that I did not like I could be silly and say things like.. The coffee was to fresh, The bed was to comfortable.. This is just a great place.

Very clean and nicely maintained facility. We very much liked friendly staff, very high quality breakfast and spa like toiletries. Of course also very fresh and brand new towel / linens.

1) Toilet seat was slightly loose 2) Hallway light was sneaking through the room door 3) Washbasin’s water tap was not tightly installed. Hence I always feared if it will come off when I use it. 4) Microwave timer light was little distracting at night and not providing enough darkness in the room.

Everything. The room was very clean looking and smelling. The bed and couch were extremely comfortable and the TV has many cable channels. We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included. Doughnuts, waffles, automatic pancake maker and fruits, juice and yogurt. This motel , with hotel qualities is a real value and we would only come stay here if we are in the area again. I expected the "continental breakfast" to be coffee and pastries, but it had everything you'd find at a Hampson Inn or Holiday Inn Ezpeess, except the rubbery sausage and the gross instant eggs. But, there were waffles, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, plus the pastries. Also, there is a little puttputt golf course on the property. The couple that runs the hotel is so nice and so helpful.

There's no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us, but might deter some people.

Our room was a pet friendly room since we had our dog with us, We were pleasantly surprised that the room did not smell like animals. It was a nice clean smell. The beds were comfortable. The TV was a bit hard to figure out. Overall it was a great room!

The water pressure was super low in the shower, the shampoo didn't lather well. Most importantly, the ice machine did not work and there was no sign on it stating it was out of order.

The reception staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived! The property and room was kept exceptionally clean and well put together for space. Breakfast in the morning (6am - 10am) was generous and the fresh brewed coffee was excellent! Breakfast included a wide variety of foods including pancakes, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, juices, and coffee.

Nothing! This was the best overnight breakfast and bed stay we’ve had!

The location was so convenient; lots within walking distance. The breakfast was great- love the waffle maker and good pastries. Our room was clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, parking and check-in were simple, and the staff was excellent.

The doors slam, and I was woken up several times to other guests letting their doors slam shut. The ice machine was broken, which was an inconvenience.
