Great pool and breakfasts prepared in the restaurant

The one hour it took to resolve the booking.com reservation that did not show in the system! Ended up that booking.com had to cancel the reservation. I got a better rate on-site saving a total of $200 from what booking.com would have charged me!

Location is perfect to travel to New River George NP. Ample restaurants and gas stations at Beckley. We loved our stay at Holiday inn, Beckley.

There were breakfast coupons given when we checked into the hotel. They were provided based on the number of people checking into the room. We did not like the way we should show them at the breakfast table and order food off the menu on Saturday. There was a lot of wait time to be seated and have our breakfast. The person who showed us to the table said that the food is free if we produced the breakfast coupon. When we did show them the coupon after eating our breakfast, they charged us about $17 ish for the food. This was highly disappointing.

The property was clean and neat. All but one employee was nice but because of that employee, the trip was not as good as it should have been.

Many children running up and down the hall and staff didn’t do anything. No amenities in bathroom. No tissues the whole stay. No extra toothpaste, cotton balls, q-tips etc. The waitress in the hotel dinning room was so rude to us the first time we went to dinner. We never ate there again!

Hotel right by freeway. Could walk to Cracker Barrel, or drive to numerous food places. Took back hwy right there for beautiful "holler" drive; 20-30 miles to New River Gorge N.P.. Room was contemporary, clean and had small sofa and desk we used. Bed was firm, water pressure good. Fairly quiet, too. Dinner was ok. Husbands quesadilla was better than my choice.

TV didn't work, but housekeeping working on nearby unit fixed it, where front desk just had us push buttons. 😀

great swimming pool

was basically ignored for 15 min waiting to be seated for breakfast in a pretty much empty restaurant. The lady had zero interest in seating us. We finally just left and went to McDonald’s. Paid for breakfast twice that morning.

The suite option was great for our family of four and the free breakfast buffet in the restaurant was better than other hotels in the area. The friendly staff and easy checkout made this an excellent stay all around.

Location, clean, convenient, reasonable price, breakfast included with reservation (with 6 people, a nice deal).

People with trailers need to park in the back. Two pickups with trailers took up 12 parking spots!

BReakfast was very good. We'd hoped for a meal when we got in. The DR was still open but closing down befre the 10 closing time noted. Nothing available really.

OUr own fault but we had trouble finding our way there in the dark.

Nice hotel it is convenient from the expressway, room was spacious and room was updated

Pricey, breakfast was not included in the price for over $330 a night breakfast should be included

Manager was very friendly and accommodating. We were greeted by him at check in and he checked in on us when he'd see us around the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice as well. Breakfast here is much better than at most other hotels.
