The Madison Concourse Hotel

The staff was warm, efficient, and had winning personalities. They gave us an amazing room with wonderful water views for my bachelorette party on a last minute booking. A wonderful stay as always. 5 stars. The young woman at the restaurant even got us to go coffee for the pool. We had a lovely morning soak and swim. The beds were wonderful and everything was immaculate. Thanks guys!

Seems the Barkeeper doesn’t like guests. We can in, place like half occupied and he removes the dirty dishes from that one table near the kitchen. We asked if we couldn’t have another table - no. There were like 5 tables unoccupied , some to seat four (we were two) and others were more like a sofa- style .. anyhow we decided to leave (-‘s would REALLY enjoyed a drink! Just not in such an environment. I do travel a lot and this was exceptionally bad !

I stayed here as an Ironman Wisconsin athlete and the hotel was perfect for that purpose. I was pleasantly surprised the hotel restaurant is actually affordable. It made staying for an extended stay so much simpler. The location can't be beat really and you're not right on the square so it's a bit quieter.

this is a beautiful hotel with an amazing location right next to the capitol. we were able to walk to all my favorite locations and really experience the uniqueness and fun of downtown Madison!

Lewis at the front desk was a wonderful host, and the bathtub was among the deepest I’ve ever soaked in. Delightful!

Gorgeous lobby with large sitting area. Spacious, clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed. Nice view. Great location near Capital building. Easy to navigate to downtown locations by walking. Bathroom shower nicely arranged with usable set of shelves for shampoo, Etc at rear. Great stay. Would book again.

Strange orientation of bathroom door and wall made doorway opening narrow. I believe due to retrofit for updating bathroom. We both bumped into the wall once. Minor issue.

Loved our room with the whirlpool, the bed and pillows were super comfortable, the pool and hot tub was great and the governor lounge and bar tender was great

The couch in our room was uncomfortable and the toilet paper is rough. The food for the snack in the governor’s lounge was disappointing this time, the other four times I have stayed in the last six years it was great this time it was soy chicken with bao buns and just some cheese, definitely not what I wanted or expected. Breakfast was great though.

Good rooms. Well kept property. Pay-per-view adult t.v. options. Sauna, hot tub, pool, gym. Responsive to desk calls. Overall good experience.

Partition doors can really leak noise from adjoining room, as in low grade 'spin the bottle' type yabbering 'college' noise/my first pony, etc. T.V. menu/guide is clunky for casual channel flipping. Staff is young to the point of feeling like you're ordering a burger and fries through cosplay; some black clad marching band with no instruments and no tailor. The music that comes to mind is the pattering keyboard for an unusually long check-out in which one gets double billed. God, I sound like a grouch. I just don't want to see this place go downhill.

The hotel is just greatly located, with everything you might need for a stay in Madison. There's nothing to complain about, the staff are incredible, rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. HOWEVER, the Location is absolutely perfect, central to everything you might need, whether to see the sites or go barhopping, this is the hotel to go to, you can walk everywhere.

The underground parking height limit was a bummer, I couldn't park my truck there because it is too high and had to find a paid alternative (although very close).
