Super 8 by Wyndham Sturtevant Racine

The property is easy to find and right off the interstate. The parking lot is very clean and the staff was great. Lots of security cameras so don’t worry about feeling safe.

No elevator, only one ice machine and very small eating area. I’m a trucker so it didn’t bother me but some one else might find it a issue. The property sits directly across from the Petro truck stop so at night trucks will park along the street if the truck stop is full. At the end of the road is a industrial park so be carful pulling out on to the street. Also my windows in my room were cracked open and I see why. When I closed them the air in the room felt a little damp.

Little features that made it more comfortable: several trash cans not just one, a freezer in the refrigerator combo, an insulated ice bucket it just made that so much nicer. Lots of lights, sometimes hotel rooms are so dim this one had many lamps and they are all functional and very nice.

The internet was very unreliable I couldn't download anything all weekend. Somehow I got skipped over for maid service that was frustrating.

the front desk clerk was funny, and the bed was very comfortable.

The only issue I had was I went to the door of the building that had the sign in the front. That building was locked and dark. so I walked across the parking lot to the building next to it, and that was the building was the real hotel. Other than that it was a very very relaxing stay. and the continental breakfast smelled amazing. unfortunately I had to leave 10 min after it opened. so no time for a good breakfast.

Best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel, I wish I knew what mattress that was! Very pet friendly there were a few options for Dogs to do their business upon. Plenty of parking and food options and gas right next door.

No elevator for the handicapped, but there are not many floors anyway

It was quiet and pretty clean

The air conditioner smelled like cigarette smoke. Filter needed changing and there was a used condom laying in the parking lot after sat night. yuk

The overnight desk person was always so accommodating, friendly, and overall helpful. The pool and hot tub were definitely a plus after the long day at Faire.

The pool area was phenomenal, the room was clean, and the staff was super friendly.

The surrounding roads were a little confusing so we drove past it once. The current breakfast isn't great either, with Covid restrictions. There was no choice involved for people with food restrictions or allergies.

Location was excellent. Friendly staff. Quiet room. Clean with nice soft pillows.

Just the lay out of room. Bathroom sink located outside of bathroom. But I understand, it's an older building.

The location is great for us it's in the center of where we are going to visit. You can go to Milwaukee and Chicago area airports easily from there.

This is not the hotels fault. The road construction! There must be a million orange barrels in Racine county. Every road you want to go down in Racine is under construction and with winter it's going to be a mess.
