Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel

The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture/linens felt like they belonged in a much more upscale hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good. The breakfast area felt like a nice restaurant.

The room doors were very loud and impossible to close quietly. I was worried I was disturbing my neighbors. If it hadn’t been for the AC fan running the whole time I was there I probably would have been woken by doors closing all night. The AC struggled a bit during the hot daytime and the room was pretty warm until the sun went down, but then it did ok. The bar/restaurant was closed the one evening I was counting on it to be open, closed for some kind of repairs if I remember correctly.

The staff was kind and super helpful. The room was clean and I enjoyed it (had the jacuzzi tub suite with the balcony.) We requested a play pen and when we got there it was set up already in the room which I was so happy about after driving all day with my 2 and a half month old. The owner of the bar was amazing! The cook was amazing and stayed a little longer and made us good food. The breakfast staff held my son for me while I prepared my plate and my husband's. Everyone went above and beyond and I will be going back soon!

I think something that would have made that room 100% perfect would have been a little round table with two chairs that you can eat at. Husband and I had to have one at the desk and i used the coffee table to eat and I feel there's room in that kitchen for a either a round table with two chairs or a table the size of the desk with two chairs. Also a trash can in the bedroom area. Having one in the bathroom and living only became a bit frustrating. But that's it....

Nice room, large, has everything. Hotel has had a light refurbishment. Very good breakfast and pleasant helpful staff, thanks for their help and advice on a few things.

Room was a bit dark and gloomy, poor lighting. Area not great at all in my opinion, it didn't feel good at all, but parking seemed safeish. I could not find any restaurant closeby that I liked, but more in town not far if you go by car. I would choose a hotel in a better area or in an out of town zone next time.

We visited Casper to visit family for two days. On the second day, a blizzard hit Casper and we were stranded in the hotel for three more days as the roads were closed and no flights were going out. The staff was exceptional!! They took such great care of us and provided us with extra lunch and snacks etc. We felt very comfortable. THANK YOU! Rooms are absolutely fine and clean Location is also great in Casper (distance to airport and most stores).

This hotel is old but is well maintained and newly renovated. The front lobby is so inviting, well decorated and has so many cool details like a restaurant turn into breakfast room, a western style saloon and metal half spiral staircase. Our room was converted from adjoining room to a room with a living room giving our family of 6 ample space and 2 bathrooms. The workout space was nice as well. We loved the breakfast in the morning.

The room was comfortable with enough room for a soft chair to sit and watch TV. Bathroom was clean. I know others differ, but I really like motels where you have an outside entrance and can pull the car up to right outside the room to unload things. This motel had an inner hall door as well as the exterior entrance. Both doors had 2 deadbolts in addition to flip lock over door.

WiFi was non functional. Once I reported it management offered another room or price modification without me requesting it. I was told that the IT guys were on site the evening I was there and the next day to upgrade hardware. Hopefully this is a non-issue in the future.

It had a bar that a small menu so we were able to grab a bite to eat and a snack. Very personable bartender. She gave us recommendations on what to try and we appreciated that.

The hotel was under construction. They had signs to how to get to everything but until we were used to it - it was a little confusing. The breakfast area was not staff appropriately. They have a sign that says wait to be seated but no one around to seat you. we finally just went in and sat down. We did locate someone later to turn our voucher in. We also noticed others waiting during the whole breakfast session.

We like the location & the beds are very comfortable

Went in to try to check in early. Was told to check back at 1pm. Came back & was told that we should be able to check on at 130. When we came back at 130 the gal then told us we couldnt check in till 3pm. That should have been said in the first place not us coming back mulitiple times.

When we came in they recognized that we were senior Citizens and reduced the rate an additional 10$ The facilities were outstanding I don't know why you would want to any other place

The only recommendation I would have is that when we went into our room the Air conditioner was set for 66 degrees and the room was too cold It took about two hours to get the temp up but we went to dinner and when we got back all was fine

This a large facility including pool, billiard room, restaurant, cute sitting areas and gorgeous lobby that evokes the west. Front desk personnel was extremely friendly and helpful regarding surrounding sites. Bed really comfortable with great linens and comforter. Complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Housekeeping pounded on my door at 9am and when I indicated I was ready to have room cleaned she gruffly reminded me that check out was at 11am - a fact I was well aware of so this was a bit off putting. Also had bugs on inside and outside of window -they kept to themselves so was not bothered but did give me pause about general maintenance and attention to detail. Small concern however since everything else looks ship shape!
