The location was perfect to the downtown area. Walkable to shops and several restaurants. The historic building added to the quaintness of the facility. I initially thought we would be kept awake by the location but was pleasantly surprised it was one of the quietest locations we had been at. Bed and sheets were very comply. Courtyard, library, sunrooms were a perfect retreat for reading and relaxing outside of your room.

The only downside was no refrigerator but that may have been because of the room we selected.. bathroom was quit small but again understand being a historic building. Only thing I would suggest is to have full length mirror on outside of door, so when bathroom is being used by someone, mirror is available for person not in bathroom.

The property is gorgeous! Sometimes what is advertised is not really what you get but this property is a gem and everything was wonderful. The courtyard, the solarium, the bar and lounge and of course the rooms. Such great attention to comfort and detail and the result is simply charming!

There was not a single thing to dislike! Just a couple of cautions for older travelers or those with a physical limitation- no elevator so you may need to ensure you are on a ground level room. And, the lovely period bathtubs with the shower curtain enclosures are a little difficult to get in and out of. They are perfect for the rooms but a little challenging for those who prefer showers over bathing. I believe there are rooms with more traditional showers.

The garden with its charming, relaxing, ambience, with the trees and the wrought iron tables set out around the property, is a highlight. The rooms are beautifully, presented, and empty rooms are left open, as they would have been in the days of the Chamberlin boarding house,, evoking a bygone era. The staff is warm and friendly, the bar offerings are excellent, and the live music offered was professional quality.

Everything was outstanding!

Amazing experience! Elegance in every detail! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly - making you feel as dearest guests coming back to family home after long trip. The only regret - we had only one night to stay here due to our travel plans - will come back for longer stay.

AC unit is very loud - need service or replacement. Not a big problem in September - open window served us well, but probably in summer time it will be a challenge.

Darling historic hotel. Beautiful spaces to hang out both indoors and out. Bar available in the evening, continental breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room and the lovely touch of a small box of chocolates. Staff was great! Location was perfect, not on the street, but just around the corner from the main street. Shopping and a plethora of eating and drinking choices just around the corner. Free street parking close by. This will be my go-to hotel choice in any future visits to Cody. Lovely!

Great atmosphere, lots of special touches in decorating.room ery clean and offered all amenities of bigger hotels. Included coffee and chocolate on bed from local suppliers. Sitting in Garden after long drive relaxing. small bar area and offered appetizers. Resturants within walking distance. Loved this old fashion style hotel, and I would definitely recommend staying.

Well appointed rooms decorated in the style of the old West. Lovely garden and conservatory room. We were lucky enough to be there on an afternoon when there was live music outside during happy hour.

The continental breakfast was stingy and inadequate for a hotel of this quality. The only choices were English muffins or small bagels, apples, and packaged cookies. Both days we were there they ran out of English muffins before 8:30; ran out of clean dishes, silverware and napkins were unaware when there was no coffee.

Very good breakfast. Staff exceptionally kind and helpful. The garden is a green oasis during the day and a twinkling delight at night. Fresh flowers in rooms is a nice touch. Very friendly, personal service. Near several good restaurants. Convenient for visiting the wonderful Buffalo Bill Centre for the West. Near start of Cief Joseph Byway and Beartooth Highway

Great historic hotel in central Cody with lots of character, friendly staff and good parking. Walkable to all bars, restaurants and within 10-minute walk of the Bill Cody museum.

Our room was on the smaller size - particularly compared to other rooms which we could see because unused room doors are left open. Breakfast options were a little limited - plain bagels/muffins, apples and cookies. It would be good to include a cereal/granola option and some more fruit.

Very good for most people but my husband and I have diabetes and there were juices and high carbohydrate pastries that tasted good, but we still had to go out for breakfast to get bacon and eggs. The pizza that was available also tasted good but we had to go out for additional proteins for a meal. We enjoyed the coffee and the chocolates on the bed

Just too many carbohydrates
